“A must see for art lovers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

Located in a beautifully restored building in the Botanical Gardens, Masterworks is a must see for art lovers! Through a variety of mediums and changing exhibitions the museum highlights Bermuda art through the years. Stay for lunch at Homer's Cafe - they have great gluten free options - and browse the gift shop for some lovely take home versions of the art on display.

“Don't miss this gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

I stumbled on Masterworks quite by chance, on a day when I walked from Hamilton to the Botanical Gardens. I stopped into the cafe--called Homer's--for a bit of lunch and afterwards visited the current exhibit entitled Drawing with Light, which is an exhibit of early Bermuda photographs. Sadly, the Winslow Homer's were not on view that day, but I was fortunate enough to meet the founder and creative director of Masterworks, Tom Butterfield (MBE), who very very kindly took me down into the store and showed me the three Homers, of which "Inland Water" is my favourite. Do visit this gem of a museum. The reception is warm and knowledgable, there is great refreshment waiting for you afterwards, and the setting at the Botanical Gardens is very pretty. Don't miss.

“Clearly a nice stop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

Masterworks is off the beaten track, in the middle if the Botanical Gardens which is free to browse
This a sm. museum, very reasonable admission and a constantly changing spot from the masters to local children. In existence for 25 yrs. it has a nice coffee shop to stop at before or after. Soup to desserts are served inside, outside and in a dinning area downstairs good for children or intimate conversations. Tom Butterfield has been the caretaker of every piece donated or acquisition. Wander thru the gardens stop to eat and see all the Bermuda art, it will become a place you will visit every trip....
