We are a couple in our late twenties early thirties and we had been in Bermuda for two weeks. I had saved this restaurant for our last evening on holiday as it's reviews were so good.
Over the two weeks we spent on the islands we made friends with quite a few locals and they all spoke about how great this place is and how they go there on birthdays etc so it was really hyped up.
I find it difficult to do this restaurant justice with words. It was outstanding.
From the quality of produce used, the variety of dishes on the menu, the skill and attention to detail in the food and preparation, the excellent wine menu... I can't have asked for more. However, it was the atmosphere that really set it apart. This restaurant oozes class and sophistication while not being pretentious.
There was a wonderful pianist called Xavier who just melted my girlfriends heart so much. He has played there for 30 years according to the matradee and played some of my requests when asked, my girlfriend and I even had a slow dance together to one of his songs before leaving in the restaurant.
If it's wonderful food with a great atmosphere for a special occasion or just for the hell of it you can't go wrong here!
Thanks for making our trip to Bermuda so special and our last night a memorable one!
ps. their speciality desserts are Soufflé's with a selection of fillings. You order it at the beginning of your meal as they make them ready for the end. They are amazing!!!!
