“Pretty but some wave pull”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

Walk the trails, take the bus, or stroll from beach cove to cove, you'll fine Long Bay beach. If you start at Horseshoe, you'll have an adventurous coral and path climb to Chaplin's Beach Bay, then Stormhole, then Jobson's Cove then Long Bay. As the name describes, the beach is long. There are some coral rock areas on the western end to snorkel and explore. Perhaps it was just the day of our visit, but we were startled by the beach drop off and the pull of the waves. They were rip tides; however, weaker swimmers might be challenged. There are bathrooms nearby as well.

“Great beach!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013

this is the beach we loooved in Bermuda. Cristal clear water with lots of coloured fish on the cove side, fun waves on the beach side. Not crowdy especially in the morning when it is the best time to hit the beach. There are no services except for a trailer that sells water and sandwiches. No shade except in the morning on he cove side.

“Long stretch of beach, no crowds!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

This was one of our favorite beaches here. Warwick is a huge stretch of beach with beautiful pink sand that does not receive nearly the crowds that Horseshoe does. It seemed most people stayed close to the area next to Jobson's Cove, just walk down past them (we entered the beach through trails from the Warwick Long Bay Park) and you will have a nice area to yourself. The snorkeling here is really wonderful, but was better at low tide and with good weather (no recent storms). We returned for a second day of snorkeling after a storm had come through the previous day but the water was just too rough and visibility too poor. If you are into snorkeling, it's definitely worth it to check out to see if the water conditions are favorable, you won't be sorry!

“Better than the Aegean Sea”

Big beach, real ocean exposure, crystal clear water, excellent snorkeling out by reefs and submerged rocks. Wow!

“Best hidden cove on South Shore”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013 via mobile

I love that this beach is less crowded than most beaches along the south shore strip. There is a hidden cove with shallow water similar to Horseshoe Bay but this is definitely better. I would definitely go back!
