I just dove with Fantasea diving a few days ago. The dive crew was very nice. They had a lot of divers on the boat and are very slow at getting everyone in the water. End result is if you are the last one in the water you get about a 28 minute dive time in about 60 feet of water. They are not cheap either (cruise ship prices around $165 for 2 tank dive) so to skimp on people dive time because you load your boat with cruise ship people isn't right. The second dive was the same thing for the last person entering the water. About 28 minutes in 30 feet of water isn't your best product in my opinion. The dive sites were good but on the shallow reef dive you really weren't given the opportunity to explore the reef. The dive master made attempts and did locate things and showed others but it seemed very hurries - the overall dive show that. You can quickly get large numbers of divers in the water - it takes experience and planning. By the way the longest dive times were probably about 38-40 min so were not taking good down times for anyone. It appearred the most important element was to have the dive boat back to the ship by 1pm for the next group of divers. They weren't terrible or incompetent. Just would not pick them if given a choice.
