“More than an average park”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

Good
- excellent caves and pretty beach
- beautiful views of Hamilton, the harbour, the ocean,...
- free!!!
- Bus #4 stops right near the entrance

Ok
- some signs not posted so you can end up walking to a dead-end
- hilly so you need comfortable shoes and harder for strollers
- probably don't want to be there at night

We ventured here one day after having lunch in the city. It's a short drive from Hamilton and you could easily spend 1 hour or many more, depending on how much of an explorer you are that day.

They have a set of caves that are accessible with comfortable shoes and part of the fun is finding them since there is considerable overgrowth is some areas. A bit slippery so a flashlight might be useful too, but once you walk through them, you can come out and go swimming off the northern end of Spanish Point. This spot is also apparently where many locals come to go cliff-jumping so that can be fun to watch in the spring/summer.

Unlike the parks in Hamilton, this is a huge park where you can really feel the wind from the ocean, and enjoy the beach, tennis court, football pitch, hockey rink(!), lots of stone paths that will take you this way and that way...only thing is some of the signs are lacking where they are needed so you might get lost finding your way, although this is a small hiccup in an otherwise great place to spend some time.

We didn't see any place to eat and the bathrooms seemed a bit scarce for the large amount of space it covered, or else I would give this a 5/5.

“Beautiful spot on the Island”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013

we went on a rainy and windy day but were happy that we made the walk. It is a very quiet and historic area with a great water view.

“Exciting place to visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

We just love AHP. It is one of our favorite places to swim and have fun. The cliffs are great. You can swim right into the caves. The beach area is great if you have kids. It has breathtaking views of the North side of the island. The underwater landscape is great if you like to snorkel.... There are trails to hike around too. It's a great place to spend the day......

“Beautiful Caves!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

Admiralty House is a great place off the beaten path. A small beach area has a nice place for kids to swim and there is swimming and snorkeling around the dock but the best part is the rock caves, accessed through the woods. And views around the rocks and inside the caves are spectacular. You can also swim around in and near caves but it was too rough and windy to do this the day we went. Bring gloves, rocks in Bermuda are sharp!

“Skip the house and head to the cliffs”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2012

Follow the trails from the house down to the cove where you'll find one of Bermuda's best, most beautiful spots for swimming and cliff diving. The tunnels and pools down at water's edge are cool, literally and figuratively.
