Lots to do here - not just a fort - excellent museum, nice shops, decent food and incredible views. Don't miss the sheep who keep the lawn cut! I'd avoid this area when a cruise ship is in town.
Took two young children here for a trip out and they were able to run around on the grass in well kept grounds. We had the area to ourselves with the exception of a few locals who were hanging around but were pleasant to us. Beautiful views over the bay and of Hamilton and the ground is home to tunnels and a few cannons placed around the grounds.The Fort was built by the British in 1666 and work stopped on it in 1686. Some lovely spots for photograghs. Entry is free but gate closes at 5
A beautiful place to visit for it's location and the views of island from here is second only to the views from Lighthouse. The place is clean and very beautiful to relax and enjoy the views. Also, awesome picnic place to hang out with friends and enjoy taking lots of pictures with great background of the island.
Up a steep hill (for Bermuda!) great views. Very quiet. Path through the miat tends to have a rather intersting clientelle. Avoid in low season.
Fort Hamilton is a short walk from the City of Hamilton. The view is beautiful and so is the fort. Take a walk down in the moat. Interesting place to see.
