The Bermuda National Gallery is well worth a visit It is located in the architectually unique and beautiful Hamilton City Hall.The Gallery is small but holds a lovely collection of paintings done by local artists.
We wandered in here on a whim when walking around Hamilton. It's not very big, but it's a nice break from the heat and sun. The woman at the desk was very nice.
Not to be missed. Watch for special events and showings of Bermudian artists and of course special collections of historical Bermuda paintings. Wonderful way to learn about the fine arts of the Island.
My husband and I browsed all the beautiful artwork on display and bought a lovely print of Flatt's Village, Bermuda.
We were treated to the opening day of the new exhibit! The art work is truly fascinating, ultra contempary and exciting. The docents were training for the new show the day we were there and we were treated to talks by two of the artists. Fantastic experience.
