Why would a place be open if they could not provide all the amenities to your stay?
We stayed in a cottage that had not been cleaned properly until mid-stay. Furniture was old,
no heat in second bedroom, poor lighting set-up, but plenty of signs asking guests to conserve water(rightfully so). We had 2 gale strength storms while there and the roof leaked, but supposedly it was really the sliding doors which always leaked in storms, so no fix. Used pool towels to soak up drips, since pools were unusable because of the weather. Outside step to cottage had loose tiles that moved when you stepped on them. Inadequate lighting on walkways, could not see steps. This is supposed to be one of the best places to stay in St Georges. In reality all we can recommend is Griffin's restaurant, which is not run by the hotel.

Room Tip: Cottages hire up have better views, but a walk to get to. Ask for Frank, the taxi driver, to take y...

We were very fortunate to be able to use our RCI exchange for this property. If you are looking for a big town experience, Hamilton might be better but we were very pleased with the town, accommodation, location, staff and restaurant. We arrived after dark and after the front desk closed so the night guard helped us find our unit. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We had a lower unit on the bluff above town, 27a.

Traded our Williamsburg timeshare through RCI and were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this property. Two bedroom villa right on the golf course, with beautiful views of the surrounding area. Tranquil location at the far end of the island, a bit of a drive from Hamilton, but away from the tourist hustle and bustle. Rented motor scooters and had a blast exploring. Very nice accommodations, pool, restaurant and staff. Thank you for a perfect family vacation!

We love the Club - so much so that we are now owners here! Fabulous deal! Everything about the Club makes your vacation perfect. The condos are constantly being refurbished - up to date and beautiful. The facilities (pools, tennis courts, exercise room, etc.) are all first rate. Griffin's restaurant on site is excellent - well prepared food at great prices. The staff is like family! They go out of their way to assist you with ANYTHING you need! It is a very short walk to the bus stop and into the town. The buses are very clean, and the schedules are so easy to follow. (You can buy tokens for the bus at the front desk - buy a book - it makes the tokens half price and the tokens never expire.) Great restaurants ( Wahoo's, Tavern by the Sea, White Horse Tavern) and terrific shopping in town. Great little food market too! Rent a scooter (also can be done at the Club)! This is so much fun and easy to do. The local speed limit is approximately 20 mph, so it is very safe. Always wear your provided helmet - it is a very strictly enforced law! Do yourself a favor and visit this paradise in beautiful Bermuda!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view - the views are breathtaking!

Our first visit to Bermuda... wow, do we love it here. The facility is beautiful. Restaurants are plentiful along the easy walk to the town square, and there is shopping and sightseeing etc., along the way too. So much to LOVE about Bermuda... especially the people. We bought a week's pass for the bus, and it was SO worth it; we rode it EVERYWHERE!
Because it was rainy most of the time we were here (Nov. 2014) we ate at the onsite restaurant Griffin's (since we HAD to pay $60/pp upfront anyway), and were not disappointed... the food and decor were excellent, and it was easy to use $60, because the meals are expensive. Don't miss the dunking of the town gossip Saturday morning in the town square. We will return without a doubt. Better than Hawaii in our opinion.

Room Tip: Our room (#51) faced the pool and Griffin's Restaurant, and St. George's Bay. Leave the wind...

Just returned from a week at St. George's Club. We stayed in a two bedroom villa through a timeshare exchange.

First the good: Staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful, from the front desk and housekeeping to the bartender and waitstaff at the on - premises restaurant. The location is ideal, only a short walk into town or to the beach. There is a moped rental office on the property (closed during our off-season visit). The grounds were nicely maintained and a pleasure to wall through on our way to town. Griffin's serves good food and delicious drinks. The property is up on a hill with beautiful views of St. George's Harbour.

The not-so-good (but by no means horrible): While I understand some villas have nicer amenities, our villa had one flat screen TV and no jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. The villa's furniture was functional but a bit dated. As we visited in wimter, it was a bit chilly at night and some in our party noted that an outdoor hot tub near the heated pool would have been nice. There were also some very minor signs of damage from last fall's hurricanes but it is clear that significant efforts have been and continue to be made to remedy these issues.

We will definitely consider a return visit if the opportunity arises. The issues we observed are more than outweighed by the benefits of the property.

We brought two of our children (19 & 20) for Christmas. This place rents out villas (also a time share) for a reasonable price and is located in Bermuda's historic town of St. George's. We found our villa to be very clean and well maintained, but a little outdated. The staff here ate well trained, polite, professional, happy and eager to please. We all had a great vacation here and would definitely go back and stay here. It is located in the heart of St. George's and a short bus ride to St. David's, Hamilton, The Dock Yards and every beautiful beach and place on the island.
