“Room just okay, friendly staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2012

I would give the room a 3 and the staff a 5, hence the 4 rating.

I was in the room called Sand Dollar (the rooms are named instead of numbered). When I arrived around 10pm, the office was closed (as expected), but there was a checkin packet waiting for me, so that was no issue. I spoke with Rachel the next morning at the desk, and she was very friendly and helpful.

The room itself was bright and medium sized. There was a powerful AC, and a fan as well. The shower was not in the bathroom, instead, it was right in the bedroom -- kind of odd. There were a few flies in the room, and a few other outdoor bugs that had made it in, but nothing terrible. The room did have a fridge.

As far as technology, the TV had a ton of channels (5 different HBO channels, for example). There was free wifi, but it didn't really work in the room (it only worked in a tiny corner near the door), but worked better outside the room on some chairs.

All in all, this inn is literally the least expensive hotel on the island, so for that, I'd go back.

“good value for a Bermudian B&B”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2012

The room was small and very clean but don't expect anything fancy. The area is very quite and relaxing, close to the ferry terminal, the bus stop, a deli/grocery store (everything is within walking distance). Breakfast consists of tea/coffee... the deli around the corner is where i actually got breakfast every morning. The staff was very friendly, willing to chat with you about the history of the house or to give you tips about where to go and what to do. There is a garden and balconies available for use. I would strongly recommend a place in St George if you want to avoid the confusion and traffic of Hamilton.

“Nice Inn at moderate price in St. George”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2012

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had a pleasant overall experience. Located at top of hill nearby restaurants and all attractions. Very friendly receptionist, room is clean (try to get one inside), hardwood floor, four-poster bed, flat screen TV with lots of channels, loveseat, chair and desk table, phone and A/C. Bathroom was ok and clean as well. You can use microwave and refrigerator by lounge area at ground floor. They provide coffee, tea, milk, oranges and apples. There's a nice garden and balcony upstairs. If you're looking for a moderate price place to stay and not looking for a luxurious all inclusive hotel with many amenities this place may suite your needs.

Room Tip: try to get a room inside preferably on the back.

“Absolutely terrible, do not stay here”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2012

This so called Inn was a major disappointment, run down, tacky, nothing charming about it.
I would not recommend anyone stay here, it is over priced for the value.

No breakfast, cheap coffee, an bummer of a experience.

There are better choices, anyone who gave this a good review, needs to get out more

Room Tip: Find a better hotel, believe all the negative reviews they are true Do not believe any positive r...

“Nice inn, not extravagant but clean and very nice people.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2012 via mobile

I enjoyed my stay. This is not a 5star hotel, it is a nice inn with friendly staff. Very attentive to your needs. Some Rooms were a little dated, old tv's and fixtures, but it is well taken care of and you are in Bermuda, who Carey's about tv. I like the location in st george, walking distance to downtown area, resturants, grocery store, scooter rental. The beach is a little walk but doable and worth the walk or can ride.
