This is one fort on Bermuda which you do have to pay to get entry (most others are free)... However it is well worth the admission fee as there are lots of things to see and lots of informative boards dotted around the fort. It's a lot bigger than most on the island and there are a lot of nooks and crannys to go exploring.... It's also has some amazing views and the cooling sea breeze to fight off the Bermuda heat. Well worth a walk from the town up to this fort!
Top tip.... There is a great little restaurant next door to the fort called the beach hut - we had a great lunch in there before going into the fort - it overlooks a lovely bay and the food is very good and reasonably priced!
