“It is hot inside”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

History is astounding. I love these kinds of places. Full of information and the graveyard is chock full of history too. Just very hot inside. Don't see how they sit through a sermon.

“A working church of great history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

The use of native cedar for interior finishes and structural members along with the many plaques and memorial signs makes for a good understanding of one of the oldest churches in the Western Hemisphere. Be sure and vist the graveyard.

“Nice and Old”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

St George in general is worth a trip, if not any particular attraction. Of course, if you love old architecture, than this is the stop for you.

“Daughter's Wedding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012

As a Dad, I considered may daughter's recent wedding at this Church to be a fairy tale. Obviously it was a special day on its own however the Church and minister along with the history completed the affair. Even the fact that they day was considerably warm, each person was provided a fan similar to early centuries.

“Cool”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

Very cool old ruins. You can spend an hour poking around and checking out the different naves. Go on an overcast day, otherwise the sun will beat down on you as there is no roof left.
