It's only a beach, whereas I MUCH prefer pools - but Palm Beach was so enticing I WAS tempted to abandon my preference momentarily. (I resisted.)
Palm Beach was a high quality beach, with great sand and gorgeous water! The waves are very light here.
Lots of white sand. Entrance into the water is easy. Swimming areas clearly marked off. Nearby access to catamarans and other water sports. Gentle slope off shore for quite a distance.
We travel to Aruba every year as we have a timeshare in Palm Beach at the Surf Club. The beach is spectacular, and there are many excellent restaurants in the area. If you need rest and relaxation, this is the place to be. You can sit by the ocean or pool under a nice palapa, and have powder-like, white sand between your toes, and beautiful aqua water that is always in the low to mid 80s to swim in. If you have children, there is an array of boating and tubing companies in several areas on the beach. There is always a nice breeze pretty much throughout Aruba from the trade winds, and it is always a perfect temperature; never too hot, and never too cold. I highly recommend this as your next relaxing vacation spot. You won't be disappointed!
Great area with PLENTY of restaurants, hotels and souvenir shops/stands. Very entertaining. Just make sure you don't venture too far from the main strip. We walked a little too far and ended up in a dodgy area.
