Just returned from a weeks vacation at the Aruba Beach Club. This was our 4th time staying in the Low Rise area but the 1st time at ABC.
The property was kept very clean and the beach is, as it always is in that area ,beautiful. They have alot of huts on the beach but in my opinion they are way to close together. Most of them are in need of new roofing, and if not careful you can get burned just sitting under them. If you have plans on getting one of these huts for the day let me tell you, you had better set your clock really early, these timeshare owners are experts at staking their claim. Apparently, if just one towel is placed on a chair under a hut everything under that hut has been claimed, so it is hands off even though you may not see anyone for about 3 hours.
The room was nice. It was on the ground floor and a really nice part is that you can use your key card to access your room from the patio. It was just a studio with 2 beds, full size refridgerator, microwave, and a 4 burner cook-top, no oven. Everything that you could possibly need to cook a meal is available in the room which is nice. The housekeeping staff always kept the room clean and stocked with fresh towels.
We only ate breakfast a few times at the restaurant on the property . What we had was good and reasonably priced. They had entertainment at the resort but it was mostly for generations gone by. It is definitely an older crown at the Aruba Beach Club but thats what keeps things low key and quiet.
