“BEST HONEYMOON”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

My husband and I booked one of the last rooms available for our January Honeymoon. It didn't have a view but it was perfect for what we wanted AND we received a complimentary bottle of champagne and cheese. The waiters were always attentive and breakfast was perfect. I wish I hadn't waited so long to book our January vacation for 2015. It looks sold out and I know why they are. I really look forward to our next trip to Bucuti it was amazing!

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms, just rooms without views but the beach is wonderful.

We discovered Bucuti and Tara beach resort when we started planning our Anniversary trip. After reading positive review after positive review, we knew this was the place! When we arrived we were greeted by Frank who made us feel like we had just returned home. Frank was a great help with directions, restaurant recommendations and other info about the island. The front desk staff were top notch, Daniella helped us and covered everything about the resort very thoroughly. Our room was very nice and very clean with nice amenities. After getting settled we made our way toward the oceanfront and we were very pleased. Bucuti has the nicest beach on the island, wider than any other we saw and more than enough umbrellas for everyone. The pool while small was never crowded and a nice break from the sand on the beach. The breakfast buffet was included and was a delicious way to start each day. On the day of our anniversary we rented a jeep and toured the island and when we returned there was a Happy Anniversary card hanging on our room door and a bottle of Champagne and gift bag of nice snacks inside. This was a very nice touch. We also took the romantic sunset sail on Bucuti's catamaran which was a nice choice. Our visit to Bucuti and Tara beach resort was the best decision we could have ever made for our 25th Anniversary trip. We will definitely return to Bucuti on our next trip to Aruba!!!

Our first trip to Aruba and Bucuti & Tara Beach resorts made it unforgettable. It was a special vacation as we were celebrating my birthday and our 20 anniversary.. As reading the reviews in tripadvisor looking for a dream vacation, we were impressed with all the rave reviews for this resort, which rightfully so, was ranked as # 1 Resort in Aruba. Furthermore, seeing how the owner, Mr. Ewald Biemans took time to answer every review impressed us even more. That alone tells you that this resort is managed with lot’s of love and care … and yes, we were not disappointed at all.

From the moment we arrived we felt that we checked in a paradise for a week. Coming out of the taxi we were graciously greeted and helped by Frank and then the concierge welcomed us with a chilled glass of champagne, while accompanying to the room and explaining all the facilities. We stayed in Tara penthouse suite and it was a great choice. A “Happy Birthday” and a “Happy Anniversary” tag were decorating the door. A bottle of champagne, chocolate, cheese and crackers, with a beautiful card, all complimentary from the resort, were waiting for us in the room. Such a nice touch and very appreciated! The balcony view alone was priceless and breathtaking and we made sure to enjoy the sunset view every afternoon with a nice espresso followed with some wine and cheese.

We are beach fanatics so did not check out the swimming pool at all. Could not understand how could you consider the swimming pool when you had a pearl with crystal water and white sand to enjoy? The reserved palapa would make the experience even better. Amazing staff that could not try any harder to make your stay enjoyable. Special thanks to Orville, the gem of the staff, that will anticipate all your needs and treat you like a royalty. Sorry Orville, we could not say goodbye to you when we left but please know that people like you, so hardworking, selfless and caring are hard to find. Angelo was great as well. He would recommend and take care of the order personally to make sure that it was at your satisfaction.

We took the romantic sunset dinner, which was great and also had reserved well in advance the La Carte Blanche restaurant. What an experience! Only 16 sittings per night concept, with exceptional food, wine, atmosphere and execution. One of the best dining experiences that we've had. Both Dennis and Glen were amazingly coordinated in preparations and interactions with everyone.

A memorable vacation that will definitely bring us back again. You guys spoiled us and set the bar so high that will be very hard to match. We are so glad that we discovered this paradise on earth and can't wait for our next vacation.

We found the special place we were looking for --- Bucuti and Tara Resorts ARUBA!! After holidaying in exquisite Tulum, Mexico for the last 4 years, we were hoping to find somewhere as enjoyable but not as effected by August's tropical weather throughout the Caribbean. Not an easy ask i would think.

LOCATION: From what we could witness after traveling around the island, Eagle Beach is far superior to any other in Aruba and Bucuti Resort is right on the sand. The water is clear and postcard turquoise and the sand is clean, uncrowded and pristine white. It's paradise! It's a taxi ride away from the high rise area to experience the hustle and bustle of the shops and nightlife so if that's what you want, perhaps it's not for you but for us, it was the perfect peace and quite we wanted for a romantic holiday

ACCOMODATION: The pictures you see online are very true of the rooms and the resort. We stayed in Beach Front accom at both the TARA (newer) and BUCUTI (Original but renovated) buildings and each time on the first floor. Both rooms were fantastic with true beach front views - TARA being a slightly bigger room. Both rooms had a microwave and fridge, great amenities, balcony, AC, fans, humidifier and air purifier - all you could really want. Bath rooms were not plush (don't expect a jucuzi) but absolutely fine by our standards and everything you need is there. If you asked for a preference, I would say TARA as the room is slightly bigger, perhaps a better view and slightly closer proximity to the Beach. The TARA building also has a washer and drier (free to hotel guests in either building) and a really well fitted out Fitness Center both for cardio and weights. There are enough beach chairs and umbrellas for all guests and they were great quality

SERVICE: Staff were all friendly and on check-in we were greeted by Patrick of management staff who seemed genuinely excited to have us at the resort and interested in our comments on the stay. Restaurant staff were incredibly friendly with Sali from 'Elements' being a stand out employee and Nakarid a most welcoming server. All Concierge staff were more than happy to help with any advise and requests for meal bookings, jeep rental etc. and recommendations.

FOOD AND DRINK: Buffet breakfast (which was included) was available at both Elements Restaurant and inside the TARA guest lounge. We ate at both but after experiencing the exceptional buffet at Elements, we ate there for the duration of our stay.
There is only one option for lunch on property - Elements but it has a good variety on its menu. We chose the Soup and Salad buffet each day as it had a great selection and was a healthy option. One suggestion might be to not always plan to eat on property for lunch but the downside to this is you leave the beach - which is very hard to tear yourself away from :) Dinner once again is only offered at Elements. We ate here only twice - one of which was the Romantic Dinner menu in your own private dining space on the beach. The set menu here was average and I didn't think it was any better than simply sitting in the restaurant to eat. Both have the same view. There are so many fantastic dinner options on the island to explore though. The Beach Bar has a great location right on the beach but honestly the cocktails were just average, yes they had alcohol in them but they were mostly pre-made mixers and I prefer fresh ingredients. The service was also usually a little slow. Happy hour was good value though (any drink half price) and an amazing way to watch the sunset.

OVERALL:
We had an amazing stay, we highly recommend this resort and we hope to return and would not plan to stay anywhere else.

Room Tip: Bottom floor Beach Front rooms, you can access the beach from your balcony but the higher floors see...

This was our first trip to Aruba, and our stay at Bucuti & Tara Beach Resorts made it an amazing vacation. From the moment we arrived, we knew we made the right choice as we were greeted by extraordinary front desk staff. Along with complimentary champagne, they all made us feel welcome while making sure everything was in order. Much appreciated after a long day of travel.

We ended up staying in a Superior room at the Bucuti wing and didn't know what to expect given the all of the excellent recommendations of Tara. However, we were pleasantly surprised by everything the room had to offer. It was comfortable, clean, with great amenities. We especially loved being able to walk out on the balcony and feel the nice breeze while still having a partial view of the ocean.

A breakfast buffet is included and offers many items, even made to order omelets. Thoroughly enjoyed our morning coffee and meal while outside on the deck. We were often greeted by Deborah, the resort manager, who seemed to have a genuine interest as we conversed about the various aspects of the resort and island. Though one does have to be careful of the birds trying to get your food.

The beach is where the relaxation begins. No fighting for chairs and umbrellas as there are plenty. It is very quiet and peaceful, nothing but the sound of waves. The afternoon delivery of cold towels and fruit cups were a very nice, and welcome touch. Additionally, the complimentary WiFI is accessible on the beach should you want to make your Facebook friends jealous.

A special call out to Frank, who enthusiastically greeted us as each time we came back from one our Aruba adventures. He was always quick to lend a hand, find a taxi, and offer advice on traveling about the island. On the beach, Omar was very friendly and would take the time to visit. He made us feel as we had a friend on the island. Also, we were celebrating my wife’s birthday and they made her day extra special. From the special greeting of a happy birthday door tag to a complimentary bottle of wine which we enjoyed watching a spectacular sunset on the beach.

Other notes:
• Drinking water is safe. The island has one of the largest desalination facilities in the world.
• There are movie nights on the beach – a nice break.
• Leverage the Concierge service – they do an excellent job of explaining and booking activates.
• Be sure to look at all aspects of pricing and inclusions when comparing Aruba resorts. You will find Bucuti & Tara Beach Resorts compares well.

Bottom-line: If you want a quiet, adults-only stay on what appears to be one of the best beach areas in Aruba, Bucuti & Tara Beach Resorts is the place. We will definitely will be back there again!

The BIRDS - THE BIRDS.....
We tried to give them away - no takers. We tried to cull the flock and ran into resistance from some guests.
Then we added two air-conditioned rooms for those that do not like the birds (called Blackbirds or Caribbean Grackles).
Omar and Frank are our some of most shining stars among the many that we are lucky to have in our employ - we thank you for your compliments.
We hope to serve you again soon,
Masha Danki

Wow what is this hotel great. The service is excellent with a lovely personnel touch. Hotel is directly on the beach with great sun lounges and a super cocktail bar. With a happy hour nearly every day. The restaurant is also on the beach again great service. Would love to come back here again. Small criticism is that our room was quite small en quite away from the beach.

This was our first trip to Aruba...and it won't be our last! This resort was rated #1 and it has certainly lived up to it. The fact that it's an "adults only" resort was a huge plus.

Let's start with the resort itself. It's relatively secluded. It doesn't sit right next to the roadway and it's not next to a major shopping area or cruise ship dock. The front of the resort is contemporary, yet very unassuming. The concierge staff is right there to greet you, and basically does everything...from getting a taxi to dinner recommendations to shopping experiences. All you have to do is ask...

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. There is complimentary champagne upon check-in and you're not limited to just one glass! They are also more than willing to show you around to the other suites to make your next visit an upgraded one. Madeline was more than accommodating...

Dining. There is complimentary breakfast buffet. You may want to consider eating inside because the birds will harass you at every opportunity. it was kinda funny watching the staff fend them off. Elements restaurant is a gem. The menu is diverse and everything looked good...but the taste is even better. You definitely want to take in the romantic dinner! You have your own serving staff and nothing is missed. It's unforgettable and worth every penny.

The beach. There are plenty of chairs and umbrellas for everyone. You want to get out there by 9am to stake your claim to a place close to the water. We never did because, well, we were on vacation. At noon the beach staff brings around cold towels and happy hour (4-6 with 1/2 price drinks) was not to be missed. Angelo was the best. Ask him for his recommendation on drinks, especially the frozen ones. He was very personable and always had a smile. Oh...the beach staff is always at the ready...just put up your flag on your chair! Be prepared...it is ALWAYS breezy and your things will blow away unless they are secured somehow. I would recommend taking some small bungee cords or something to that effect. And the wi-fi even works on the beach.

The bar. The staff is very friendly and service is prompt. If there is any criticism it would have to be the diversity of the drink menu. The typical beach drinks were their specialty, however in the evening, targeting more of the various flavors of martinis would have been nice. There are plenty of chairs and lounges and comfort abounds. The steel drum entertainment nightly is a great touch!

The room. Comfortable and clean. We didn't spend a whole lot of time in it. You can adjust everything you can think of...air conditioning, air quality and humidity. Oh, there are complimentary water bottles to take with you and keep. Keep the door to the balcony closed...we had a small visitor running around in the room (small lizard).

It is safe to say we will be back. There is no other place like it on the island...or anywhere else in the Caribbean.
