A Euro-style Boutique for Adults offering a fantastic location, a tranquil, romantic and relaxed feel, with great facilities and an outstanding staff. Lived up to or exceeded (ambience, location, and an exceedingly friendly accommodating and professional staff) the numerous effusively positive reviews of Bucuti you'll see posted on Trip Advisor. we've already booked our return visit. The Place:
The facilities are fresh, modern, and complete (e.g., full restaurant, spa, gym, store). The setting, on the best stretch of beach in Aruba (arguably one of the best in the Caribbean) and away from the frenetic crowds near the high rises, downtown, and port, is beautiful, not at all crowded, quiet, great for swimming, sunbathing, or lounging. We found it a welcome departure from what you'll see in the high rises or even just down the beach. The beach area is mere feet outside the Tara Suites, and is very well appointed with chaise lounges, umbrellas, towel service, a bar and restaurant within a perhaps a couple hundred feet or so of any chair, a great, cheerful staff to provide anything you need. The bar, cabana, outside dining area have lovely views of the beach and ocean, and as the sun sets, and the lights, candles, etc. come on, and the low, chill music lays - it's a very romantic and tranquil setting. Enjoyed the Tara Suites - nicely sized, well-appointed rooms with a great view of the beach. The rates were very, very reasonable. The hotel is a short , easy taxi to the high rise area - which affords the entertainment (dining, gambling, etc.) of the high rise area, with none of crowds, young partiers, etc. Also, any of the better dining experiences are but a short ride away.

The Food: Food was good - e.g., breakfast buffet not at all bad and certainly complete, and the restaurant nice with some solid dishes (the Signature Shrimp was very good). Note that Carte Blanche, one of the best restaurants on Aruba, was literally setting up shop as we visited - and this will be a fantastic addition to a pretty flawless hotel.

The People:
The people throughout Bucuti wee invariably great. But, for me, the shining star of the visit was the very gracious, warm, quite accommodating, and always professional concierge staff. They did all they could to ensure we had a great stay and vacation. Our biggest thanks goes to Madeline - an obviously very experienced, well-travelled, wickedly sharp and charming member of the Bucuti team; she was amazing before and during our stay, including recommending and arranging all our dinners, charters, and transport. But, all on this team, incl Danielle, Esther, Mary Ann, et al were, as well, outstanding.

This is a great place for couples (no kids). Very relaxing and nice rooms. The grounds are lovely. The facility is clean and modern, tasteful. The beach is gorgeous. The breakfast is delicious. The staff for the most part are very helpful, The one thing I do not like is many guests seem to smoke. I think there should be a part of the beach for smokers. I also saw guests with their dog, very cute. However, I did not see dogs living on the property as the New York Times suggested recently in a review about unique get aways.

There is no better place to come and relax and relieve the stress of everyday life. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The staff friendly and constant, they know who you are if you have been there more than one. Deborah the resort manager is on top of everything. If anything is wrong with the room, let them know and it is done. The breakfast starts the day off right, good selection and peaceful, we always eat in the Tara lounge our preference, others eat outside. The addition of the Carte Blanche restaurant makes the place even better, the new fitness center is beautiful, but we could never find our way off the lounges to use it as it was just quiet and peaceful on the beach. Service is great, the ambiance wonderful, do not miss this place in Aruba!!!!

We have been coming to Aruba for 14 years, and this was our 12th consecutive stay at Bucuti. Once again, it was an amazing vacation! We were welcomed back with open arms and made us feel like we had returned home. The friendliness of their staff, everyone from front desk check-in, concierge, housekeeping, restaurant/bar staff, managers and owner, is so real that you feel like family. Resort Manager Deborah was there immediately to greet us.
Relaxation begins at check-in with complimentary champagne and refreshing cold towels. Mario happily escorted us to our room. We had requested a ground floor suite in Tara and were not disappointed. In fact, we were lucky enough to get the same room as previous years. The suites are a great size and everything is clean & fresh. Thank you Solange for the great daily housekeeping. I love the little notes on the door welcoming us back. We celebrated our 22nd anniversary and the "Happy Anniversary" note on the door was special.
Breakfast is served in both Tara & Pirates Nest, so we did both. One morning we would have breakfast in air conditioned Tara greeted by Marguerita & Natasha. Other mornings it was geat sitting on the deck of the Pirates Nest having coffee. Kay & Nakarid always made sure we had coffee refills.
The white sand beach and turquoise water are spectacular. There is never a problem getting a lounge chair and umbrella. Hungry or thirsty while on the beach? No prioblem. Put up the red flag and Robert, Orville, Angelo or Akeem was there in a matter of minutes. Happy hour at the Sand Bar is always fun. 1/2 price frozen & mixed drinks during both happy hours 4-6 & 9-10. Great drinks are provided by Marina, Juan Carlos, Greg, Jessie, Aldrick & Donald. The slippery monkey is a frozen drink favorite. Lunch is always delicious .
A very special thanks to Chef Kurt. We happened to mention that there was an item we really enjoyed a few years ago, but has since been removed from the menu. A few days later we went for lunch and "surprise"- he had made our special item with all the fixings. It is this exceptional customer service that brings us back year after year.
We have seem many changes over the years, but the one thing that has not changed is the owners attention to detail and the staffs quest to meet every guests needs. Thank you Bucuti for years and years of beautiful memories. Can't wait to return in a few months.
