“One happy island”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2012

Just returned from brickell bay and was pleasantly suprized. It's a smaller hotel across from the beach. Close to everything. The rooms where clean, fresh towels daily, very comfortable beds and nice showers. The front desk was very friendly and there to answer all your questions. Read the other reviews, some that we're not so favorable and we didn't find that at all. I've been to the island many times and stayed at the big hotels, time shares, and even guest houses and I would go back to Brickell Bay again. The pool was enjoyable after a day at the beach and the staff was right there if you needed anything. Breakfast at Tomato Charlie's was just enough to start your day. No it's not the big fancy hotel where you walk out the door to the ocean but I can find that on any island. This was quaint and clean. C u next time!!

We loved the staff and the ability to walk across the street and be on the beach in less than 5 minutes. Also every night when its time to go out all you had to do was choose right or left and in less than two minutes you were at some of the best restaurants and bars

my husband and i recently booked a honeymoon stay at brickell bay in a superior room on the fourth floor.... we had seen researchedtheir website showing "newly renovated rooms"... when we arrived we were surprised to see our room. it was an old , hot, room definitely not was the type of room we saw online...the windowswas filthy and the only was to cool the room was to ask maintenance to come up with a key. the bed was old and bumpy with no pictures on the walls.. . the television was old style small , again not was depicted on the website... whe we approached the fron desk about changing rooms, she said there were no available rooms...she did not even appear to even look nor care to......as a result we had to find a room elsewhere on the strip...there was not even a front desk manager to complain to that day....not even an apology given.. we were going to be charged 3 nights for this...this honeymoon started off badly.for us. the website is very deceptive..... i know this is not a five star hotel but we hoped for some type of satisfactionwe have been to aruba many times and stayed at many places and this visit has been themost disappointing .. if you happen to stay here and get a good room you were lucky... by the way i tried to reach out to management several times via email........surprisingly no response

Purchased a Groupon so we got a great deal on a 5 night stay. Hotel has been updated and is worth the price, if you want the Ritz, stay at a more expensive resort. Everyone I came in contact with was very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. The hotel was not directly on the beach but it only took a couple of minutes to reach walking.

Was booked into hotel for one night only by a local agency. At checkin I was told that myself and a colleague had only one room and that there were no others available. A call to the agency, Majuro (who were also not to impressive) secured us another room. My room I found to be dingy with the walls covered in spider webs and fixtures and fittings to be substandard with wobbly doorss on cupboards, bare wiring on electrical fittings and a tile floor that looked like it needed a deep scrub. I also found a ladies hair in my bed. Worse was my room was full of my nemises...... bloody mosquitoes! I hate them creatures and in spite of a sweep I was awoken by that pesky "whine" and ended with a fine selection of bites. I just felt overall that this was just a tired old hotel with not a very good location. I dont know how much it cost as charges were already covered but I hope it wasnt to much

Room Tip: go elsewhere

Me and my husband just got back from a 10 day stay at Brickell bay and it was perfect . When I first booked this trip I emailed The hotel to inquire about a fridge in our room and then a few rentals companies for a jeep they could recommend I received a response in under an hour from email from Juan the owner and I knew immediately that Brickell bay was going to be great place to stay When we arrived checkin was no problem not long at all the girls at the desk ROCK ! The room was great clean and just exactly what we needed for our stay. We ordered room service from Tomato and Charlies which was very nice. The pool area is very nice and peaceful Brickell bay is doing work to add an addition attached to pool area so there is some noise but when all said and done it will be awesome looking so be a little noise for a little bit isn't that bad. Laundry room was out of order during almost our entire stay but we dropped our laundry at front desk and was done for us that same day ...perfect ! The girls at desk the two Jessica's were awesome my husband loved talking to them They assisted in any requests we asked from making dinner reservations to places to see Thank you ladies ! Joileanne from the spa is super nice and so pleasant . The spa is great $30 for a manicure and polish what a great price I could go on and on Brickell Bay is an amazing place and a great stay and the staff put it above and beyond . Keep up the great work it is appreciated. I am a picky person with vacations I love quiet ,smaller places and happy employees because you interact with these people everyday of your stay so if there not happy you probably wont want to stay there either so if a place has it all I want to be there. Brickell Bay has it all Thank you
