This restaurant seems a little out of place inside a corner of the Palm Beach Plaza Mall. A first impression would be minimalist décor, light, and clean. This atmosphere would provide one an escape from a shopping environment, but the food, although good, was not special enough to lure shoppers away from a mall food court (which we didn’t check out) where prices are most likely cheaper. To be fair, though, we were only there at lunchtime, so the place could be hopping more at dinner where they had a wide selection of beers. Also, we did not taste their waffles, which I assume, should be one of their specialties.
Service was just ok (no enthusiasm on the part of the server) since it wasn’t busy and it took a while for our food to appear. A unique item which was the first I’ve seen was a cigar vending machine complete with humidor, but we are not smokers. A pleasant lunch experience, but unless in the area, I would not make a special effort to seek it out again.
