“good chinese food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013

The food was good. Service was great. Portions were good and we were able to share what we ordered. The kids had already eaten and staff was fine with them not ordering any food,

“Fun Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013

Every time we are on vacation we always try a sushi/teppanyaki restaurant no matter what island we're on!
But we have to say this was the best one. Our chef, Alex, was great, he was personable, funny, engaging and invited several people in our party to participate. The show was terrific and the food was really good, we had several people that had filet mignon and they all raved that it was delicious and tender and so was the shrimp. If you're craving for great teppanyaki, sushi or Chinese food this is the place! Alex, our teppanyaki chef, is also the sushi chef!
It was my husband's birthday and about 6 staff members shook his hand and wished him well on his birthday, great service and very friendly!
J.H. Yee's Bistro also has a sister restaurant at the Westin Hotel, Blossoms, and you can see Alex there too!

“Good meal but a little pricey for what it was”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013 via mobile

Enjoyed a nice meal at JH Yee's last night. Felt like having sake but only had one of the several items in stock. Overall I would say good, a little better than average. Service was very good but when the check came, was more than it was worth. If you feel like Asian food, check it out. A lot of other options on the island for non-Asian food.

“Good experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013

We were looking for something light and decided to hit Yee's again.
Reception is very warm, and you are shown to your table by an Aruban girl in a kimono. A little corny but OK. Our waitress was very friendly and we told her we only wanted some sushi and soup. The place had quite some patrons but didn't feel overly full and it definitely did not affect the service. I started of with a nice egg-drop soup while my wife enjoyed the fried noodles that are served instead of bread. We wanted some fried eel rolls and she quickly communicated our wishes to the chef and got it exactly how we wanted it. The other rolls were Tuna and Dragon roll.
The only comment as a local is that they said they could not let me add a tip on my local Kompa Leon credit??. That is just ridiculous, I have used it hundreds of times at restaurants and it works just like a visa card where you can add the tip afterwards. They said I should have told her the total amount before swiping it. They need to check with CMB. Now I had to use cash.
The other items on the menu look good too and have a totally different background. (Chinese fare) We'll have to go back soon. Hopefully they'll have fixed the Credit card issue then.

My Fiance and I regularly go to JH Yee's and have always had a great experience! The food is excellent and fairly priced for the island. Their staff is so nice and helpful always smiling and make sure you are well taken care of!
