We enjoyed the Holiday Inn very much. It is a Holiday inn, everything is the same as home.
The breakfasts were huge and somewhat different. Dinners? really nice. You could have a THEME dinner on the beach,with all you can eat and booze or you can have a sit-down,waiter served meal with wine.
Our bedroom was Holiday Inn and everything worked, we had a bonus for we looked out over the beach. The beach oh, it was fantastic and the sea even more so BUT for me it was the lack of MOSQUITOES,nothing was air borne, no flies and bugs it was wonderful.
Yes we are going back.

We wanted to stay in Aruba but couldn't afford the $3,000+ needed to stay at the Hyatt (not all-inclusive, I might add). We decided on the Holiday Inn based on a good review in the Frommer's Guide and from word of mouth. The hotel is very clean and the staff very helpful. We've been all over the Caribbean and have become masters of "expectation setting." Let me say that this hotel exceeded our expectations for value and for the quality of food. I would recommend spending the $200 or so that the all-inclusive costs otherwise the food and drinks at this property (and everywhere in Aruba) can be prohibitive. Making reservations at the Miramar is easy - get up in the morning and call the guest services desk - no lining-up! For the money, this is a great hotel. If you don't mind the family atmosphere, you'll have a great time. As we discovered in Aruba, the entertainment is all over so don't fret if this hotel doesn't put on a Las Vegas-type show (which it doesn't). Get out, explore, shop, and gamble. The money you save by staying here can be spent elsewhere. One more thing, of the guests we met at the hotel, a large number of them were repeat visitors so this should tell you something. Words of advice, don’t use the phones labelled "Call Home" or "International Calls" because they are a rip-off ($17 to Canada only to leave a voicemail message).

Having stayed at this hotel before and very happy with the service etc I was concerned after reading a few reviews. We stayed in the Bonaire Tower and the room was large, clean and well looked after. A minor complaint was no bath towels twice(quickly corrected by the front desk)and the bed sheet not tucked in to prevent slippage at night. The food and service was excellent in the Miramar Restaurant, and both the buffet and Seabreeze Restaurant food were adequate (althought far better than anything in Cuba). The bar service was good and we only tipped for exceptional service. The shaded huts were quickly taken early in the morning but there were plenty of trees for shade. There is a lot of security but we never felt apprehensive about walking day or night. All inclusive is a great way to go on in Aruba as although there are lots of restaurants in the area the cost is quite high. We highly recommend this hotel to stay at and will return again.

We had a great time at this resort...we had few frustrations, we put our valuables in the safe and couldn;t get them out, I made about seven trips up and down the elevator because they kept giving me new cards, turned out the batteries needed replacing...no big deal. Check in was a pain in the *** best to get a drink and go check in later. Service was good, Hodge in the lobby bar is awesome to talk to. Everything was good except that on our last night a couple was booked into our room and it turned out that the hotel didn't even know we were in that room for the whole week. Our flight was delayed 6 hours...good for us...bad for those who had connecting flights. Overall we had a great time and would go back.
