“Excellent Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

My friend and I loved our stay here. It's central to all and everything – restaurants, the plaza across the street, the beach that's only steps away including all of the water activities. As soon as you step into the lobby, you're immediately greeted with the oasis view of the beach. The staff was super friendly and the grounds remained kept each day. Highly recommended!

Room Tip: Rooms in the unattached building are quiter with less traffic flow.

Right from the start our stay was amazing. We were allowed to check in a few hours early and were even upgraded to a room with an ocean view by Shelly. Our room was overlooking the beach and was absolutely amazing. This made our stay so much more enjoyable being able to sit on the deck overlooking the ocean! We also loved that there was fresh water in the lobby with fruit, this was a nice touch and very convenient after being in the sun all day.

The location is absolutely amazing. The beach was directly outside of our room and we could walk to almost everything including local shops and restaurants.

All of the cleaning staff were very cordial and the concierge staff in the lobby were great with helping us make dinner reservations etc..

One downfall occurred one night at the Palm Bar in the lobby. My boyfriend and I had just gone out for the night and wanted a glass of wine to take to our room. I was in heels that became very uncomfortable after walking around all night. We stood in the bar for a few minutes while the waitress/bartender was talking to another patron. We decided we didn't want to wait and walked to one of the little gift shops to buy a bottle instead, unfortunately the gift shop was closed so we walked back to the bar. For the second time we were completely ignored by all the staff at the bar. The waitress continued to talk to her patron, quite loudly actually about her boyfriend and a lot of other very personal and unprofessional stuff. There were two other staff members ringing in checks that made eye contact with us several times yet repeatedly turned their backs to us. At this point I took off my shoes and had to walk to the other end of the resort to get a glass of wine. The only other downfall was the price of breakfast. 45 dollars for 2 people is a little much! We managed to find a breakfast restaurant just down the street so that worked out much better for us.

All in all we had an amazing stay despite that one issue. We are looking forward to returning next year and staying again! Hopefully in that same amazing room!

Room Tip: Beach View rooms are amazing!

Holiday Inn is in a perfect location on Palm Beach. The staff is great, the rooms are good but some of the rooms can have bum views overlooking a roof with a view of air conditioners.Last march on our 29th visit to this Hotel we were given one of these rooms. I WROTE A REVIEW ON THE STAY AND THE HOTEL WROTE BACK SAYING THIS WAS AN OVERSITE. We'll see ,I just booked a week in November for 2 rooms. Our daughter and twin 7 year old grandsons will be experiencing Aruba for the first time.I'll see' and maybe be back again in March. We love Aruba and found the H.I. to be great 28 out of 29 times.Actually I used to book groups of couples to come with us and have had very few complaints from them. It;s well worth the money. T.D.

Room Tip: If view is bad ask if Hotel full and maybe get a better view.

This was our first trip to Aruba and we chose Holiday Inn based on a recommendation from a friend as well as the price that was being offered by the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised at the location and proximity of this hotel to the beach ( it's right on the beach!), to restaurants and access to other activities around. Since this was our first time here we didn't fuss much about the location of our room. We were on the first floor room 7122 in the sea tower. The only complaint we had was that the doors/walls a bit thin and when people would come back from partying around 1-2 am, and were loud by the elevator, we would end up waking up. We will know for next time what to request. No rooms by elevator or entry.
Overall amazing location, great price nicely kept pools. Lots of activities. We didn't know about kids club until last day learning from another guest. Would have been great if someone would have mentioned something to is at check-in about that, I think our son would have enjoying a few hours or some of the activities. I recommend this hotel to families with kids.

Spent a week here, probably would go back if the price was competitive. Internet connection is probably my biggest peeve, rooms were clean, beach and grounds are well kept, great location on the strip, we walked everywhere. Buffet breakfast was good, tip the bar tenders at the beach bar well and they will take cafe of you. Good hotel, great island!

I traveled with Dancin Doug Travel. We numbered 250+ and came from all over the US. Although my room was clean and serviced in a timely manner, the service at the restaurants and bars left a lot to be desired. The service was slow and a few of the workers were rude. The check in process was also slow but the personnel were courteous.

We stayed three nights. We had a beachfront room that was fantastic. The view was great. The hotel has recently been renovated and shows real well. All of the staff we encountered were helpful & friendly.

There are many dining options. Our favorite place was Sea Breeze Restaurant & Bar. We had dinner watching the sunset and it was perfect. The Resort is right on the beach. You cannot go wrong by booking a room at this resort.

We will back!

Room Tip: Pay extra and get a room overlooking the ocean.
