It was first time here and we are happy to have found a home away from home. Met so many repeat guests, 10yrs, 8yrs etc. which says alot. Safe, clean, and well worth going all inclusive. The hotel is in the process of upgrading but when you compare prices for over-rated hotels in the area, you can not go wrong at the Holiday Inn. Looking at the 2014 calendar already! Sunwing's flight times are my only complaint. A great resort.

Just returned from 2 wonderful weeks at home in the Holiday Inn. My husband and I spent our Honeymoon in Aruba 1970. Having watched the Palm Beach area grow, we still feel this is the perfect spot if you are looking for the best beach and trying to get away from it all. As mentioned there are now some hugh hotels with more glitz, but nothing compares to walking into the HI and being greated by "Welcome Home". Get up in morning and walk down the stairs, have your toes in the sand before your coffee cools. So many folks have complained about the "so so" rooms, but I truly don't think you will find a better spot on this perfect island. We visited jan8-15 .we requested the aruba tower because 2yrs earlier we stayed there and it was great. When we got to our room we realized the were doing work on the outside of the tower when we asked to be moved they did so without any problem . Our room was great in the Bonaire tower. The breakfast Buffett which was part of our package had a great selection and they offered to make you anything you wanted from the kitchen, it wasn't t necessary . Everyone was accommodating and pleasant and for the price you can t beat the location . A bit of paradise in the middle of winter is a dream . Also the pizzeria between the playalinda and holiday inn is delicious.the wifi is free but was a bit sketchy. Every time we go back it feels like you never left ,familiar faces and you feel safe . Had a great time can t wait to go back.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn in November 2012 and am going back in April 2013. It's not the most luxorious hotel, but it is simply the most convenient and best value for your dollar. The beach and pool are right out the back of the hotel so you don't have to walk forever to get to the beach. The rooms were very clean and the staff very friendly. All inclusive was our deal and we will be doing it again. The buffet was no big deal but served it's purpose. I didn't go there to be a restaurant critic and eat, I went for the ocean and beach. The Iguana Bar is great and the drinks are endless. Very quiet at night and that was nice. It's walking distance to Moomba Beach and a short drive to the Local Store which is another great spot to visit. Bottom line, Holiday Inn is a great place to stay. Don't listen to any bad reviews.. the place is great and besides I don't go to an island to stay inside a hotel. It's no Riu, but Holiday Inn is half the price!
