“A wonderful Eagle Beach Resort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

We had a unit in Phase One. We shared the week with long time returning owners. The beauty of these Phase one units is privacy, peace and quiet, and you have a two minute walk to Eagle Beach which is one of the BEST IN THE WORLD. The staff was great, the unit was clean and housekeeping was super. Please make sure to bring enough cash to check out as they have a surcharge for credit card at check out. It actually makes sense as they have to forward the tax funds they collect to the Aruba authorities so the credit card charge cuts into their revenue. The wifi is $25 per week but works better than most resorts on the island. We enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: I would ask for phase 1 if you want peace and quiet.

At first I wasn't sure about this place, but we really did like it. Away from the world. Phase 1 is quaint and peaceful. No screaming kids. People and staff are very friendly. Food is very good at their cute and colorful restaurant. Loved the salt based pool...much healthier. Beach is to die for. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Room Tip: Its all good

This is a real resort because it allows you to get away from the world. A place that does not have large pushy crowds and commercial shops that sell you things that you do not need. A resort that has the staff that knows you by name instead of your room number. Your neighbors becomes friends and social hour is around the pool with a bottle of wine with cheese and crackers. The beach is your getaway with very little crowds. White sand and blue paradise water. In June, you will find new life in the form of Leather Back Turtles that hatch on your private oasis to say that living life is important. This is a small resort compared to the strip but it has the nature of coming home. There is no big restaurants that serve buffets and no room serve but instead a place that you look forward to visit each year if you are lucky enough to have one of their affordable timeshares. There are many times that you are the only one in the two salt water pools. A raft with calm water under you and the real world a million miles away. A resort that is so private from everything but so close to all of the things that Aruba has to offer.

La Quinta was great!! Very clean, beautiful salt water pool, great poolside bar. Everone that works there is very friendly and accessible. Directly across the street from Eagle beach, which is incredible. We will definitely be going back to La Quinta!!

The resort is a great sanctuary when your gone all day on a boat or riding on a jeep. We had a great time at the pool after we returned from our submarine rides and our touring of the island. We went night swimming after we returned from dinner each evening. Eagle beach was wonderful early in the morning after breakfast. We are looking forward to spending two weeks in paradise next year.

This resort is like your home away from home! The resort staff make you feel welcome from the first step on the property. Arlyn will greet you warmly at the front desk and answer any questions you might have. After a long day stop by the front desk and meet the smiling faces of Darwin or McKeisha. Be sure to visit the newly refashioned Kini Kini Pool Bar and Restaurant--take advantage of their daily specials there!
There are two great pools to take a dip, or if you prefer, the wonderful crystal clear blue waters of the Caribbean are just a few steps away. It's a must to visit this beach--Eagle Beach!
If you research it you will find it is one of the top 10 beaches in the world!! The beach attendant-Cocoy-will be glad to help you with a chaise lounge or chair at no cost to you. This beach is also a favorite for sea turtles to lay their eggs--you might even be lucky enough to watch them erupt out of their buried nest much like a mini volcano!
After visiting most of the islands in the Caribbean I have actually found my home-away-from-home!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent, well run resort. Rooms are clean and bright, maid service every day, and staff is very polite and helpful.
Good pool bar and restaurant. And of course there is Eagle Beach.
We have been owners at La Quinta for many years, as well as other resorts in the Caribbean and LaQuinta stands out as the favorite. Economy car rental is onsite and the main bus line is across the street.
