Our first time in Aruba. Aruba was amazing!! You can't beat the beautiful beach. The Checkin was not great. The room we were in on the 7th floor was really bad. The bathroom was a mess. Tiles cracked, stains on the toilet and the shower head was broken. Beds were not comfortable. The AC did not work well and the room had a very musty oder. The room definitely needs a makeover. The Hotel itself was fine.
Can't wait to back to Aruba. Wouldnt stay at the Westin.

First time to Aruba, FANTASTIC Country. Read all kinds of reviews prior to choosing Westin. The Westin was clean, although it did have a musty smell in corridors. Yes, the elevators at times were slow, especially if you were on the 18th floor as we were, but what the heck do travelers expect, supersonic elevators. We ate breakfast inside the Westin and it was expensive, BUT, we did go to two other places and we saved $5. So, eat at the hotel. The restaurants the Westin were so very good. The waitstaff should come to the U.S. and give lessons. The beach area was absolutely wonderful and always breathtaking. When you feel tired of getting pock marks from the wind blown sand, the pool is a great alternative. If you are a first timer, trust me and everyone else who has been there, DO NOT forget the high SPF lotion. That sun will eat you up. My companion used 100 SPF and she still tanned nicely, I used 15 SPF (Mr. Know It All) and I have tiny blisters on my arms and legs. Walking down the beach and visiting the other hotels, whereever you stay, it will be Heaven. Outside the Hotel we ate at Daniels. The steak was expensive, As everything is there, but out of this world. We went to 5 Burgers for a lunch, and we sat there for 20 minutes, and no one waited on us. The kicker is...we were the only ones there. All in All, "thank-you" Westin for making my week there wonderful.

Hotel is old and needs remodeled. Rusted showerheads, water leak spots on ceiling in room, no entertainment. There is absolutely zero nightlife at this hotel unless you want to gamble. Spend the extra money and stay at RIU or Radisson resorts which are right next door. They are heads and shoulders nicer.
When Im doing an all inclusive i want to do it at a newer resort with great rooms and a vibrant pool area. Also the Riu and Raddison had nightlife and the Westin had none.
IF YOU ARE GOING TO FLY ALL THE WAY TO ARUBA YOU MIGHT AS WELL STAY SOMEPLACE THAT IS NICE!!!!!

On our last day in Aruba, we decided to dine at different restaurants. For breakfast, we ate at the Bon Bini Restaurant at the Westin Hotel. I am writing this review because aside from the variety of food, what I really noticed was the exceptional customer service provided by the staff at the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and courteous, each one of them served with a smile. They really made you feel comfortable and definitely we felt that we were well taken care off. We took the liberty to check every name tag of the person who assisted us since we wanted to inform the hotel of the great job they have done. To Westin - I hope you recognize the following especially Vernel Atijera. He was the one that really stood out from the rest. Great job Vernel! Also please recognize: Nora, Agnes and Marisol. Sometimes, we always talk about how amazing our trip was but aside from the beautiful beach, we tend to forget that the people working at the resorts definitely make our stay memorable.
