I absolutely love this hotel! So much that i had my wedding here in 2010. I have been staying here for 15 years, It was my husband and I first vacation together, and 12 years later we returned for our wedding. Every year it gets better and better. It is our home away from home. If your are looking to have your wedding in Aruba look no further than the Westin. Everything exceeded my expectations and than some. The location on the beach i feel is the best on Palm Beach. The beach and sand is the cleanest and least crowded of all the other beaches. All of the restaurants are fantastic, and everyone is so friendly.... like all in Aruba. I have stayed at most of the other hotels on palm beach with other people and we always wish we were staying at the Westin (we travel to Aruba about twice a year). Since then we don't stay anywhere else! We now have a 2 year old daughter who we just brought for her first trip!!

As is stated in other reviews, this is an older hotel so the age shows a little. But the staff was very very friendly and helpful with any questions. We never had trouble with the elevators as others complained about. The only reason I did not give it an excellent was because I feel that every room should have a mini refrigerator and possibly a small microwave. We had requested a refrigerator due to medication needs and it took a couple of days for one to become available. Also, there is only one restaurant that served breakfast, and though it was great food, the wait could be very long. All in all I would definitely recommend this resort.

We spent a wonderful week at the Westin celebrating "twin" birthdays. Had read reviews about slow elevators,,,, but no problem for us. Saturday a.m. elevators at checkout seemed more crowded, but had no issues. Had read about problems getting palapas, important as we needed shade. Line formed about 3:30 for 3:45 Palapa request and was able to get free palapa every day except Friday, but ample shade elsewhere and beach help set up chairs (couple dollars tip). Ate at the Italian, Chinese and beach restaurant, All good food. Wait staff was great.l Chinese restaurant offered lunch special, price and food great. Thanks to Danny at front desk for welcoming us (delivering bottle of wine and piece of birthday cake - thanks Danny!). Only comment to hotel... would have been nice to have docking station in room to play I-Pod music. Would definitely return!

This is our second time in Aruba, and its always been great! We have a little problem with our first room but we got a new room right away. So Nice to see lenora again, she is very Nice and helpful as usual. She always work so hard and should get her long overdue promotion.
Breakfast and lunch outside are outstanding, stafff are all working hard and very helpful. The only thing we are not happy with is its too windy eating on terrace restaurant deck they put some cover but its seem unfinished and short, watching those hook might be dangerous if got loose.
We spent most of our time on the pool it was very relaxing, bingo time is also our favorite! Cant wait to see Westin again this december.
