We bought here the same year we bought La Cabana. Playa Linda is in the hi-rise hotel section of town. It is really in the thick of everything but you would never know it once you get into the resort. They definitely have the least crowded beach on Palm Beach. The rooms are smaller (2 burner stoves in the studio) but it is quaint. Normally you have great customer service. We had the exception this year. They have one of the most comfortable beds out of all the resorts. Suites were recently renovated. This a great place to stay if this is your first trip to Aruba.

I have been to Aruba 8 times and this is my first time staying at the Playa Linda. Check in was relatively fast and my room was ready about 1 hours early. I rented a 2 bedroom/2 bath unit which has huge balcony and a smaller one off the MBR. Views from everywhere which was a nice touch! The room was clean, housekeeping everyday, bed was super comfortable, plenty of storage. The cons: small elevators, little cramped in kitchen area. The beach was beautiful! Downside is getting up at 6 am on vacation to reserve a "chickie", I was NOT happy about that. By the way, no rental fee for chickies. Food & bar was reasonably priced, had drinks 2 for 1 happy hour early in the day, didn't have to wait till 4 pm like other resorts and they are only $ 8. Ate on the beach from the azurro restaurant, delish panninis. Had a computer area downstairs in lobby and I wanted to print out my boarding passes but was told to go to internet cafe across the street to print them out because printers weren't working. Didn't appreciate that. All in all definitely a nice stay...

I had a timeshare at Playa Linda for over 20 years. Sadly due to economic reasons I had to give it up. I stayed at Playa Linda over 20 times. I recently was invited by friends and owners at Playa Linda to accompany them there for one week. It was as if I had never missed a year. Everyone at the resort was so happy to see me and make my stay as wonderful as possible.The beach and resort were so beautiful and maintained in an excellent way. I saw many upgrades which made this beautiful time share even better. The timeshare suite gives people the option to cook in if they choose to. Most items needed in a kitchen are in the suite, you just bring the food. It is close to the other resorts, shopping, resturaunts and casinos. And Aruba is VERY safe as long as you excercise good judgement you will not have problem there.Playa Linda has the best beach on the island, hands down. You will be super happy if you stay at Playa Linda!!!!

Stayed 10/7/12-10/14/12 for our honeymoon in a timeshare given to us for the week by an aunt. The Playa Linda has beautiful grounds and it looked beautiful as we arrived. Quick check in and we were in our room (603) which was nice with a stove top and full refrigerator and freezer (perfect for beer and left overs from dinner the night before). Awesome balcony with an absolutely amazing view of pool and ocean. Bed was comfortable and though noise from the hall area could be heard inside the room it was not unbearable. Pool and beach area were top notch with multiple beach bars nearby. Convenience store on location which had everything you could ask for. Would stay again and recommend to anyone.
