“Passions Was Exactly As Advertised”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2014

This is true barefoot dining on the beach. Our family loved the atmosphere and the excellent food and service were just bonuses.

I took my family to Aruba for Christmas and there were many families at Passions. Being the holidays there were plenty of children at the restaurant. Between courses they kept themselves busy playing in the sand. Couples were seated away from the children in the front row at their tables for two along the water's edge.

Our family prefers eating dinner later after sunset, but sunsets in Aruba are fabulous so I imagine dinner while watching the sunset would be nice as well. Our meal was delicious. We did not feel rushed and service was spot on.

“Romantic dinner on the beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2014

There are now several places to actually dine on the beach in Aruba. We eat at three of them. The experience at Passions was terrific. The food was wonderful, service terrific, and all the other ambiance was equally impressive. They do a wonderful job transforming from sunbathing to romantic dinner setting in the evening. Of the three places we had dinner at, this was one of the best. We highly recommend it.

“Valentine's Day treat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014 via mobile

We happened to be on vacation over Valentines Day, and thought this would be a nice treat. We had fairly early reservations, and we were seated promptly. The food was good, shrimp was great, steak was ok. The view was awesome. Our 8 year old played I. The sand around us as we waited on our food.

“Unique and Romantic Dining Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014

Passions is very unique in that it doesn't really exist per se. By day, you will find a very nice lounge where you can sip cocktails in front of magnificent Eagle Beach. By night, the palapas that dot the beach area are transformed into quaint dining tables and additional tables covered with linen are brought out just short of the shoreline. Torches adorn the beach between the tables. Upon being seated, you are handed illuminated menus for easy reading under the cover of night. The waitstaff is attentive and the food is deserving of a 5 star rating.

It was a special night for this was the place I decided to propose to my girlfriend, and Passions made the experience extra special.

“Enjoyable beach setting.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014

The primary draw of Passions is the beautifully presented beach seating with torch lighting and wearing flip flops. We were there on a windy night and blowing sand wasn't an issue. The service was attentive and food was nicely presented.
The food is good but a bit pricey, but then again you are paying for the ambiance.
