“Great spot for coffee and a sweet treat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2014

This is a great spot for a quiet cup of coffee. Excellent European style coffees and teas. We ordered the "homemade coffee cake" and were pleasantly surprised to receive rum cake! Great service, and quiet atmosphere. We even got a view of the iguana eating flowers outside our window.

“Quaint and charming”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2013

We were pleasantly surprised when we stepped inside. So many choices. Delicious coffee and teas. The service was lovely. We came for a light lunch. I'm glad I had read about it and knew what they served because servers command of the English language was almost nothing. When we asked what they had for lunch she said bread I had to ask what was on bread and I asked about quiche that I had read about and she said yes. But she was so nice Lunch arrived it was a small toasted panini and I choose curry chicken salad. Very good. My husband had spinach quiche small slice by it self. Very fresh and tasty. Very fairly priced too

“Darling Dutch Coffee House”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2013

It all started when we inquired at the Plaza Cafe about purchasing the little dutch cookies served with coffee in Aruba..The server told us they were from a local coffee supplier. We looked up Smit and Dorlas NV on the internet and found this little coffee house somewhere in the maze of Oranjestad. We asked the concierge in our resort for the directions...We did get turned around and luckily found this quaint dutch coffee house. Our intention was to only purchase some cookies to take home but we stayed for a light lunch of quiche, paninis, coffee and homemade cakes. This place is so cute. ..Everything was lovely and delightfully delicious..It was calm and refreshing, quaint and relaxing...A perfect respite from tourists and crowds. We did buy the cookies ( 160 in a box!!!!) and can now enjoy a piece of Aruba at home with coffee and tea for many days to come...Sip where the locals sip! GO Dutch! It's Darling!!

“Coffee House, Aruba”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

This is a quaint little coffee shop where the locals go and they were quite busy when we were there. Service is just average due to their busyness but servers are happy to see you and the coffee was great. They serve Dutch Smit Dorlas coffee so if you want a break from Starbucks this is the place.
They are out of the way and we couldn't have found it without directions.
