“Best vacation ever”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2014

It started off Bad we arrived at our room... That looked nothing like the pictures travelocity had advertised but since we were already here we decided to make the best of things. My boyfriend had to work from here and we picked this resort for the free wifi we'll guess what the wifi didn't work in the room so we called and called once we received no response we went to the front desk to explain our situation Ms. Maureen Connor gave us another room with the same problem again we head back to the desk... Mine u this is the first day of our vacation. This is what Ms.Connor tells us we have no other rooms sit here in the lobby and work from here... Is this women serious???? Now my boyfriend is boiling over along comes this angel of mercy Jelishka Giel who gets us to a room with wifi and we send our email and text and get to keep our jobs Ms.Connor needs to go to the management class Ms. Giel attended she was rude and very inconsiderate. After that our vacation was amazing we did our work in the morning and enjoyed our days and nights Noel the shuttle driver was beyond words helpful and knowledgeable and just a great person I will be back... We loved it here

We rented a 3 bedroom suite through an RCI exchange - found out when we got there that it was really a 3 room lock off (1 bedroom connected to a standard suite connected to another 1 bedroom). We were disappointed with that because we had 3 families, each with a 1 year old child. So, parents can understand why a suite would be a bad situation for when the child is napping/sleeping. The family in the suite decided to put the crib in the bathroom so they could close the door when the child was asleep. Worked out fine. This would be my only real complaint.

The rooms were a nice and clean. Not a luxury hotel, but good for our family. Towels and linens were clean and decent (again, not luxury plush). We had a bug problem under our kitchen sink which was disturbing (looked like baby spiders or something). Otherwise, no bugs elsewhere. Our rooms were large enough for our families. Kids got to run through all the rooms. The 1 bedrooms have 2 bathrooms which was great when the baby was asleep in the room - we used the bathroom in the living room. Each room had a nice deck where we spent a lot of time. Washer and dryers are small but ok. We did laundry every other day. Housekeeping came in everyday to take out trash and replace towels if needed. They changed bed linens once a week. Overall, the rooms were fine. I would rate the room a 3-4 star because it did have many amenities and sq foot minus luxury.

The resort was great and in a great location. There are several pools on the property. We would frequent the infinity pool mostly because there was food and drinks. It's also the most crowded and noisy (not too bad). The SeaBreeze pool is usually occupied by the senior citizens, but it was a nice pool and also has food and drinks. The rest of the pools are very nice and quiet, but had no food or drinks. Golf carts take you around the resort and neighboring resorts too. The resort is small enough to walk on your own. The beach is very quiet, clean and relaxing. It's across the street so there is some walking or golf carting involved. Not far at all. With the kids, we mainly stayed at the pools. The food options are limited - 4 restaurants (rest are for all inclusive guests). But the food was good and we enjoyed it. Did not go to Mulligans restaurant on the property because it was smoke filled - there are no smoking bans in Aruba. Bus stops are right in front of hotel. Very convenient. Very happy with the resort and all that it offered.

Looking forward to returning to this resort in the near future!

We stayed at Divi Village Golf & Beach (not all inclusive) in March for 10 days We exchanged a 1 bed 2 bath condo thru RCI. We were in Birdie 1 ground floor. Condo was great, as was the staff. Every request we had was fulfilled immediately. The golf cart shuttle they have is great. Always available to take you where you are heading. A wonderful feature so you don't need a car.
Room very clean & spacious. Lots of closet space, even a washer/dryer. There were 4 of us & when we reported a bad mattress on pull out they immediately came with a better one.
This was a great, restful vacation. Great pool, clean beach with plenty of chairs.
We ate at most restaurants in three Divi resorts and loved all but the buffet. Great food, good value, fabulous service.
Am looking forward to returning.

Room Tip: Rooms around infinity pool are great. Private patios close to pool & beach.

This is our Home away from Home for March. As Timeshare owners we come every year for two weeks because the weather never fails-always sunny, breezy with little or no rain. This year the Divi added a new Grill at the infinity pool which just adds greater value to the Resort. Most of the Eagles and Birdies around the pool received a new exterior paint job(long over due) and new lighting.

You just can't beat the Aruba for a Holiday. Great Island, Weather, Resort and so on. For some reason people think Aruba is exspensive and in fact it really is not if you do your homework. Its the only island that offers great attractions, tours and 100's of quality restaurants.

Pack you bags and go.

P.S. There are lots of web sites that you can rent timeshare owners units for alot less than going directly.

Room Tip: If posible try and get a 1 bredroom golf villa they are amazing and close to the pool.

This is the second time in two years we have gone to Divi Village and we will definitely be back! Eagle Beach, which is right across the street one minute from our room as well as the pool, is probably one of the prettiest and swim friendly beaches in the world. Powdery sand, plenty of palapa's ( an open-sided dwelling with a thatched roof made of dried palm leaves) to sit under, and perfect weather (88 for a high every day and 77 for a low). The rooms have kitchens so we made ourselves coffee and breakfast every day AFTER we brought our morning coffee to the beach with us for our morning swim in the ocean. The Seabreeze Restaurant at the pool has great food (try the fish tacos) and a great bar. Matthews Restaurant nearby has a perfect place to have a sunset dinner, and after dinner you can go to the Casino which is right in front of it. Golf tournaments twice a week at the Links on Wednesdays and Fridays. $75 for Tournament entry, 9 holes of Golf, Cart, sleeve of balls, Club Rental, Shoe Rental AND two drink tickets!! We'll be back next year!!!

Room Tip: Call the 800 number a week or so before you go, they are in North Carolina and they will take care o...

This hotel is part of the low rise hotels. The whole resort is nice EXCEPT the rooms. They're dark and dingy with old furniture. Would recommend staying at a high rise in palm beach instead of staying here.

We stayed at the Divi golf resort back in December (26th - 31st). Our room clean spacious, updated and the ktichen came in handy for breakfast and snacks. The resort is fairly quiet and we enjoyed that vs. the high rise section of Aruba. We loved the pool and it is a short walk to the beach. We will go back again.
