“Nice cultural site”

The museum is small but it is worth the visit and will give you some insight on life on Aruba for over 100 years ago.

“Nice place to get to know more about the history of the island”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013 via mobile

The museum is bigger than first thought. Really nice exhibition of how life has been and what they have done for a living. We were here in september, not crowded at all.

“History”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

Fort Zoutman & King Willem III Tower Historical Museum
Behind the government complex off L. G. Smith Blvd.
Oranjestad, Aruba
Visited here 5 August 2013 while in downtown Oranjestad. It’s easy to get to and across the street from the water front/marina area. It is the oldest remains of Dutch settlement and was built in 1797. It was nice to stop down to see some history and artifacts. If you are a history buff then you will like it. If not a history buff a quick 10 to 15 minutes will be good for you. It is probably nice to be down here when they have events down here.

“Bon Bini Festival”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

Tuesday evenings the Aruban people put on a wonderful festival (dancing and music) for the visitors on the island. It is so much fun. We would always eat there with their homemade goodies whenever we visited. This festival is where I ALWAYS purchase my presents to bring home. The Arubans hand make them. One stop shoping for me!
