“Getting Better With Each Visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

The Tamarijn - Divi All Inclusive gets better with each visit. The management continually updates the rooms. The rooms are basic and very clean. The food and service in the restaurants was superb. Every meal we had was top shelf. The breakfast buffets are extensive. You will love the pizzas and sandwiches for afternoon or evening snacks.

The staff couldn't do more to make you feel welcome. Our waitress at the Tam, Renada, was very caring and an asset to the resort. Her husband, Renaldo was accommodating like his wife. Bartenders Robertico and Gilbert are always upbeat and amazingly remember everyone's name. We look them up every day for wonderful drinks. Ronnie is another bartender at the Tam who will go out of his way to please you. Yal Do at the Red Parrot will go way beyond the extra mile to make your visit enjoyable. This resort has some of the finest waiters, waitresses, and bartenders in Aruba. This we can say from experience having been nearly everywhere on the island.

The evening entertainment was very enjoyable and seemed improved from past years. It was perfect for all ages as well.

We prefer to stay at the Tamarijn since every room is oceanfront. Just walk out the door and you are on the sandy beach. The beach is clean and never crowded. There is nearly a mile of beach between the two hotels in the complex.

The casino has been remodeled and is inviting. A new shopping area has been added as well.

The hotel location is perfect. It is near town on the bus route. Taxis and rental cars are available at the hotel.

You can't beat the Tamarijn - Divi for the best all-around travel deal on Aruba, especially for families. We can't wait for our 11th visit. Enjoy your visit to one friendly and "Happy Island."

Room Tip: The higher numbered buildings are a longer walk to the restaurants. Complimentary golf cart shuttle...

“Wedding in Aruba Jan. 2013”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

This is our second year returning to the Tamarijn, Aruba. We decided to do our destination wedding here at this beautiful location. This resort is the best all-inclusive resort I've even been too. All of their rooms are beach front. The food, drinks, people are amazing. (Perfect for families/kids.)They are currently remodeling rooms and I see many people comment that the rooms aren't as nice as the Divi. That's true, but the Tamarijn is very clean and rooms are perfectly fine being you're NEVER in the room anyway. We had 25 ppl attend our wedding and every single one of them said they would absolutely return to the Tamarijn in the future. We can't wait to go back next year!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room that as been remodeled.

“Great place to stay right on the beach!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

Every room has a ocean front view!! It's right on the beach!! When u walk out your door your on the beach no lobby no elevator no waiting for a cabana on the beach they have plenty!! There 's nothing like it!! The rooms r basic nothing fancy at all but a big balcony!! Which is nice!! We stayed towards the end of the place and it was nice and quiet but u had a nice walk to go for the food and drinks but it's excercise!!! And u can hang out at the divi and use all there restaurants and bars!! The divi seems like its a little bit nicer then the tam. The food was good at all places!! I kinda of wish it wasn't all inclusive or I wish u had a choice because I'm not a drinker but I love staying there because u can walk out right on the beach!! For me that is the best!!! And the water is so blue omg it's beautiful!!!Will definitely stay ther again!!:)

Room Tip: The girl at the front desk gave us a couple of choices of rooms that was nice!! The girls at the con...

“Missing the Tam”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

This review is long overdue! Visited in Jan. 2012 with a large group and were put in block 23 -main floor room which was renovated. This location is a bit far from the main area which we didn't mind because every morning you woke up to your own private beach area, lounge chair and palapa. There is a powdery white sandy beach fronting your room and a wonderful warm ocean! Truly amazing. For those who can't walk there is always a shuttle available to take you to the main area or to the other Divi properties.

The buffet is just ok but the a la cartes are great especially at the neighbouring property and they are all worth reserving.

My only criticism is that the bunker bar, closest to this block of rooms often opened late in the morning and although a fridge is in the room it is never stocked with any beverages.

Also there seemed to be no entertainment team organizing any games or activities throughout the day and would have liked this option. Overall this resort is great and I would consider returning.

Room Tip: Block 19 and 20 are close to everything

“Perfect Holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

We visited here a couple of years in October, it was our first visit here and OMG it was perfect. we loved everything about it, the island is only small so transfer times were short, which was just what you want after an 11 hour flight. The hotel is brilliant, the rooms are gorgeous (basic, but what more do you need), right on the beech. Our room was just past the bunker bar and to the back of our room was a smaller, more private pool which we spent our days. The food was excellent, in every restaurant and the buffet. The Windows Restaurant is the best place i have eaten ever, the food and the service is out of this world - this is at an extra cost but so worth it. The weather was a dream, only a couple of days where we had a bit of rain. The mosquito's are a little relentless, I got bitten no end, night time was the worst, i am sure you have heard this remedy but the skin so soft spray from avon is very good, i take it everywhere with me now, Also someone mentioned marmite - eat a spoonful of this everyday and it will come out in your pores - they hate it apparently. we will most definately be coming back here without a doubt, we very nearly booked for this year but decided on The Maldives instead. Please do not take any notice of the negative reviews, they are not deserved, it really is a magical place, if you have booked you will not be disappointed. It really is 'One Happy Island'
