“Out of the way but, perfect!!!”

Great place for dinner. The fish is always fresh and prepared perfectly. The service was wonderful and the prices aren't out of hand. We make sure we go here at least twice during our yearly visits.

“Downtown gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2014

Our concierge at Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort, recommended Driftwood Restaurant. Small, casual, non-touristy. Terrific fish; great ambiance.

“Back alley gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2014 via mobile

This is one of those restaurants that you really need to be looking for as it is tucked away on a back street in downtown Aruba. The service was very good with many people being attentive to water, bread, cocktail and food needs! I'm not sure who was the head server.. But it worked!! The fish was fresh (Cajun swordfish) and the garlic shrimp were well seasoned. Chocolate cake was DELICIOUS! A very good dinner!

“Tourist trap”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2014

My wife and I went there 2 nights ago and will never go back. It's a tourist trap ,where most of the cab drivers tell you to go. It's basically an expensive red lobster

“Great food and experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2014 via mobile

My husband and I had dinner here for the first time. The service was excellent. The waiter and additional servers were friendly and attentive. We started with the coconut shrimp which was very good. I had the white sangria to start which was fair. For dinner, I had the land and sea with lobster and 4oz filet. The lobster was very good and the filet was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Earlier that week we had dinner at El Gaucho and i also had filet however, I enjoyed my filet more at the Driftwood. My husband had the seafood pasta dish with chunks of fresh seafood.
We would have had dessert however, we were both full. I am looking forward to going back there in the future for dinner.
