We went to Amadeus last night because of the great comments regarding service and quality of food. The service started off very good until our server unexpectedly had to leave the restaurant (which we learned later). We understand things happen HOWEVER no one told us she left OR BETTER took over her station. We spent the rest of the meal flagging down servers for refills, condiments, to order dessert or even for basic eye contact -- it was very odd since there were very few guests in the restaurant. Our table was treated like a land mind, servers were literally walking around our table very quickly ensuring not to look or say anything to us. Ironically, we were able to observe guests around us getting very good service (like the couple who made the review below). Finally a server came by to give us our bill in which we stated our experience. The server was open to our feedback and shared the information with the manage. The manager DID NOTHING with this information. This review would have been quite different if the manager had come over to simply state he heard we had concerns and was very sorry for our experience. Instead he never acknowledged us, in fact he turned his back when we were leaving where other guests received a farewell greeting. Yes, the food was good but if there is no team work in service at Amadeus. Too bad Amadeus was our first dinning experience in Aruba . . . well, on the bright side, the service could only go UP from this experience.
