We followed the signs (rare in Antigua!) and the Italian flag ;-) and found our way to this charming restaurant right on the water. We enjoyed the great drinks (my favourite piña colada of the trip), and the thin crust pizza was a great hit. I splurged on the lobster - a feisty live one that splashed the seat cushions on his way to the kitchen! Luckily we saved room for dessert which was decadently delicious. Diego stopped by to chat, which turned out to be another highlight of the evening.
In fact, we enjoyed our experience so much that, when we had trouble finding a restaurant open at 5:30 pm (beach places close for dinner??!) we went back to see Diego for more pizza, lobster pasta, fabulous beef (Canadian eh!) and desserts.
We will no doubt make a return visit on our next Antigua trip.
Thanks to Diego and his attentive staff for great food and memories! Ciao!
