Catherine's has moved out her former digs at the Slipway to a new and larger location on Pigeon Beach. The food is as good as it always was, but we did miss the old atmosphere!
Let's face it, the Slipway location was very special. This new place is larger, and very light and bright. However looking out over beach-bodies drinking on loungers does not have quite the same cache as watching the yachts go by. We also found this new building incredibly LOUD------we had trouble hearing each other sometimes.
The food though is just as good----if not even better. Catherine is still a very gracious host who attends to detail. The food is still very French and very, very good.
We were here for lunch (dinner is served only 2 nights a week). My companion and I each had a salad-----mine was the lobster salad, which alone is worth the price of airfare to Antigua. We had a good bottle of wine and a bottle of water and the bill came to around U.S. $100.
