My husband and I just returned from Antigua/Barbuda. We spent two seperate nights at Wind Chimes, one the night before we left for Barbuda and one coming back from Barbuda. I agree with everything that DougYWG has said... the locals weren't sure where it was but we found it with no problem. The taxi ride was very short and cost $8 US or $23EC from the airport. The rooms were comfortable with a small but clean bathroom. Continental breakfast was brought to your room at the time you requested... very nice touch. The only real issue is the road noise and airport noise. However, we only spent two nights there so it wasn't a concern. The airport noise is really only during the late morning and into the evening and isn't very frequent. The road that the hotel is on is one of the main roads from the airport so almost all traffic goes this direction.
There are no restaurants within walking distance so you'll need to get a cab or rent a car (Hertz next door) to do so. We ate at the Sticky Wicket three times and enjoyed every meal. You can walk to this restaurant from the airport and then get a cab to the hotel... which we did.
For our needs this was perfect and if we were to do the same trip again we would stay at Wind Chimes.
