It is rare that my wife and I are able to get away, but thanks to my wife's research, we were able to spend a week in Antigua. It was also my wife who selected Yepton, remarking that of the many reviews she read on Yepton, there was not one bad one. Indeed, we feel fortunate that we were able to book there. Once booked we did correspond with Gabriela on a few items, (arranging a car rental and setting up a breakfast package). While she came across as warm and gracious in those emails, just meeting her face to face proved those impressions to be quite true. We arrived late, but both Gabriela and Douglas were there to greet us. As we went through registration, Douglas pulled our bags to our cottage. While we do our best to sample the local cuisine, we also enjoy doing some of our own cooking. I suspect the kitchen was better supplied than our own having every kitchen gadget available. And note too, with the cottage came a fine three burner gas grill on the patio. We enjoyed our breakfasts on the patio in close proximity to the salt pond and the nature it harbored. The Caribbean was also in view, a short walk away. Noting that folks who rented such cottages would do some of their own cooking, on the day after our arrival, Gabriela took us to an awesome grocery store and then gave us advice on many of our selections. In addition to all of the amenities, the cottage also had beach chairs, beach towels and a hammock! And when we went to the beach, they gave us a beach umbrella as well. I cannot say enough about the hospitality of Gabriela and Douglas. They are very hard working people, but always had the time to accommodate anything we might need. Indeed, while there are abundant resorts and luxury hotels in Antigua, I could not imagine a finer, more relaxing place to stay than the Yepton Estates Cottages.

Great well equiped cottages with everything you could need even beach umbrellas and chairs very clean and well looked after The owners are very helpful with great advice on where to visit and eat
nothing is too much trouble. You do need a car to get about but this is no problem .Wonderful holiday.

My hubby and I stayed here in January. It was lovely, clean and charming. The cottage (we rented the studio) had everything in it that you would find at home-which made preparing meals a dream.
We did, though, miss seeing the ocean and even though it was only a short walk it was something we really missed. The couple who owns the cottages are super friendly and accomadating and we would def return/recommend!
Antiguia is incredibly beautiful and the beaches were top notch. We didnt love the dining options-I suppose we are spoiled by Barbados and Anguilla.

I stayed at Yepton Cottages during an island hopping trip and only ended up here following an error by the hotel next door. Wow, how lucky I was! I was travelling with my cousin and both of us got our own cottage which was brilliant.

Firstly, the cotttage owners are very helpful and friendly - a big thank you to them. The location is far enough away from the cente of St Johns to achieve the 'getting away from it all' feel. The cottages are very comfortable, all with a porch, a/c and all of the usual comforts. There is a small pool shared by 4 cottages (which we had to ourselves most of the time) and a lake at the end of the bank - with a rowing boat which I recommend you try! The place is peaceful, relaxed and probably more suitable for a honeymoon than a couple of guys island hopping. Nevertheless, it was an excellent stay and I have no hesitation in giving it a 5 rating.
