This is a charming little place, only six tables, but you are well looked after by the owner Nicky. It’s very personal, unlike much larger establishments. Book ahead since space is limited. Hard to find though, and no signposts. It’s between the Chinese Embassy and the Cutting Edge. Going north, turn right and head into Friars Hill Development and it’s along there on the right. At night with the coloured lights on you are sitting in a tropical garden, attractive and romantic. Food was excellent. We started with the pumpkin and ginger soup. It was wonderful, don’t miss it. Nicky was pleased that the pumpkin came from her mother’s garden. Kingfish and seared tuna were very nicely done. At the end of the evening, your bill will be two-thirds of what you might pay at posh establishments in the area. Good value and worth re-visiting.
