“Attractive, small, personal, good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2012

This is a charming little place, only six tables, but you are well looked after by the owner Nicky. It’s very personal, unlike much larger establishments. Book ahead since space is limited. Hard to find though, and no signposts. It’s between the Chinese Embassy and the Cutting Edge. Going north, turn right and head into Friars Hill Development and it’s along there on the right. At night with the coloured lights on you are sitting in a tropical garden, attractive and romantic. Food was excellent. We started with the pumpkin and ginger soup. It was wonderful, don’t miss it. Nicky was pleased that the pumpkin came from her mother’s garden. Kingfish and seared tuna were very nicely done. At the end of the evening, your bill will be two-thirds of what you might pay at posh establishments in the area. Good value and worth re-visiting.

“Not to be missed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2012

If you are looking for a new dining experience that doesn't break the bank, then this is definitely for you. You dine alfresco in a lovely garden setting. The food and service are top notch. Nicky provides a limited menu, which changes frequently and which also assures you that everything on the menu is freshly prepared. The crab cakes were delicious and her special apple dessert is highly recommended. The restaurant is small and therefore, reservations are a must. It is about a 15 minute drive from St. Johns. If you have special dietary considerations, Nicky will be certain to try and honor them. Just ask, she really does her utmost to please. The restaurant just opened in May and I hope she enjoys many successful years to come. It is certain to become a favorite of both visitors and natives alike.

“Garden dining”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2012

A group of nine of my family and friends went to Table D'hote for dinner and loved it! Upon our arrival, Nicky graciously greeted us and took us to our table which was set up outside in a wonderful garden. It was lovely. The appetizers, entree and deserts that we all had were exellent. Everything was so fresh and totally yummy! Everyone enjoyed eating there immensely. So much so that several of our party went back another night!

The whole dining experience was an extremely memorable one.
