We have stayed at the Jolly Harbour villas many times and each time we are greeted with friendly staff, great weather, fantastic amenities including beaches, bars, restaurants, shops, pools etc.

A great place for either couples or families with children as there is so much to do or you can just relax and sip the cocktails.

We prefer the North side as the beach is much quieter and if you need to go to the south then you just call for the shuttle bus.

We tend to hire a car, which is reasonbly priced and can be parked on the drive of the villas.

Go exploring as the island is beautiful

We've stayed at Jolly Harbour for three years now. It's important for these reviews to note there are 2 very different resorts. Jolly Harbour Villas are 2 bed self-catering villas privately owned and rented out, situated next to the Jolly Beach hotel, which is a huge all-inclusive resort.
The villas are built around the marina and there are many restaurants and bars around the marina as well as many shops and a huge supermarket. There is a huge pool and tennis courts to use as well as a casino and night club in the evenings. Day passes can be bought if you want to spend the day at the all inclusive Jolly Beach resort which are great value, and allow you to return to the tranquility of your private villa afterwards. Both the villas and the hotel share the mile long beach which is one of the best in Antigua. Being privately owned each villa is differently decorated, but some are very well equiped and newly decorated with luxury furnishings. The south finger of Jolly Harbour villas are in the best location. The Jolly Beach resort is very active with lots to do if you'd prefer an all inclusive action packed holiday, but you can combine the best of both worlds. All in all Jolly Harbour has something for everyone and is perfect for families or those seeking to explore the island and other activities.

We have had 2 fantastic holiday's at this resort, the people are friendly and the location is amazing, from the wonderful restaurants to looking out accross the water to the island of monsteratt with its volcano. And what can i say about the food if you are visiting this resort you must try Mellini's Itallian Restaurant, the food is amazing and mellini is one of the nicest people you could meet, then there is Peters BBQ and steak house where the steaks are cooked to perfection and some of the nicest i have ever tasted, and if you want a bar atmosfere with a wide range of great food then try the Dogwatch Tavern where the local yacht club meet, and if you are really lucky you might meet Nick Malley of star wars fame, or you could just visit his studio in st johns. No trip to this paradise island is complete without a trip up to Shirley Hights on a sunday at sunset to listen to the steel band! This island has so much to offer i might just have to go and book another trip now!

Wonderful week spent in a villa- very spacious, clean etc.

Am rather baffled as to other's negative responses, as my family and I were entirely satisfied by the entire trip.

We liked it so much we bought a villa!
