First impressions were not amazing, is a bit grungey looking from the outside, but once inside the complex you forget all about that and remember that you are in the Caribbean. You are greeted with a rum punch or fruit punch, which are both delicious. We upgraded out rooms to Bay view rooms which looked out over the lagoon and the sea, the views were much better than we expected of a lagoon. The rooms were nicely furnished, the bathroom was spotless and so was the rest of the room, which was always cleaned daily and to a high standard. The beach was incredible, with breathtaking views out into the deep blue sea. It was by far the best beach on the island, with plenty to do, or you could always just lounge in the sun. The food in all resteraunts is excuisite, and the breakfast all layed out, you dont know where to start there is so much choice. The staff in the hotel are fantastic, a great laugh to be had with many of the waiters, who all great. There is kareoke and music most nights which is good fun if you like that sort of thing, it is just the right amount of entertainment, after all you dont go to the caribbean for the nightlife, you go for the blue water, white sandy beaches and views. You have to to go on TONYS treasure island cruise, its such a great laugh and such fun. We went almost 8 months ago and still cant believe we went and did it, hopefully goin back this christmas and hope to have the time of our lives, again. Hope this helps. The Almonds
