Dear Trip Advisor
As an Airline employee my wife and I travel quite often and our latest adventure was to the Blue Waters Hotel in Antigua. From the moment my wife and I walked into the foyer we new that our choice of hotel had been correct, the view was fabulous and the welcome was warm and very friendly.
We had a deluxe beach front apartment which was of a very high standard with fitted wardrobes, beautiful bathroom including bath robes, stocked mini bar, ironing board and iron and the most comfortable bed of any place we've ever stayed at.
The room had Air con and over bed fan and double glazing which was just as well because we were so close to the waters edge and magnificent curtains which my wife kept commenting on, (i was so pleased that we came with full cases otherwise the curtains may have travelled home with us)
We stayed on an all inclusive plan but all plans were available with two restaurants, Vyviens or the Palm both of which offered a wide range of excellent food in very nice surroundings.
The hotel had three pools one of which was adults only with plenty of sunbeds for everyone and the beach was of fine , well manicured sand with wooden shades. There were several hobie cats, pedalows and canoes some of which needed repairs which was apparently in hand.
If I had to say anything negative it would be that the beach was a little short not allowing for the nice walks in the evenings but then there is a gym with organised walks every morning going for as long or as short as people want.
The best asset of Blue waters must be its staff who all treated us as friends. everyone had a smile and warm greeting and made it a very happy and warm place to be and a special thankyou to edgar who got us to the Airport after our taxi failed to show up.
Thankyou Blue Waters.
