Stayed at the Cove Suites and the view was to die for. We were in 3F. The bath had a clawfoot tub and separate shower. The grounds were lovely and quiet. ALL of the employees were very friendly and helpful. Some of the nicest people we have met on any of our vacations. Yes, the beach was small but still very nice. It was very intimate and secluded as opposed to a large crowded beach. You can get kayaks, catamarans, and peddle boats all of which are free to guests. If you wish to do any of the excursions, the hotel will arrange them for you. The first 10 feet into the water is a little rocky so bring your water shoes. You can go out pretty far and not be too deep. We did not do the all inclusive as we like to venture out for dinner. We did have the breakfast included and that was perfect. It was buffet style and had plenty to pick from. They will make your eggs to order. The first night we ate at the hotel (The Palms) and it was very good. Service was good as well. Vyviens and The Cove were closed during our stay so we could not try these. The other restaurants that we tried for dinner were Bayhouse, Coconut Grove, Indigo on the Beach, Leahs, and La Bussola Italian. We did not have a bad meal at any of them. All are open air and on the beach. Although you cannot see the water after the sun goes down, you can still here it. Wonderful!! Very romantic. We rented a car from Lions Rent a Car and Samantha (Sandals location) was the best. We didn't even have to go anywhere. She brought the car to us at the hotel and also picked it up. A piece of cake!!! Get ready for the ride of you life! It is quite comical as the roads are narrow and you drive on the opposite side of the road. We are so glad we got the car. We came and went as we wanted. You can also go to the local grocery store called Epicurean on Friarshill Rd. They have everything. It is not far from the hotel. Maybe 10 minutes. Also not far from the hotel is the shopping in St. Johns. Maybe 15 minute drive. The locals go here as well and we liked that. The ladies in the shops were all very friendly and not pushy. If you are looking for a beautiful setting that is intimate and NOT the big chain type, the Blue Waters is it. We loved this hotel and this island. Can't wait to go back!!
