We have never reviewed a hotel before--we have never stayed in a hotel quite like this before either. Overall it has a very relaxing atmosphere. You can forget about everything except being on vacation. The staff are wonderful. Vyviens restaurant is excellent; the food could rival most five star restaurants. Be prepared to be dressed elegantly casual at both restaurants. The entire hotel is extremely clean and this includes the appearance of the staff. There is a nice variety of water activities. If something does break it is repaired immediately. We can't wait to go back.

My Husband and I recently held our wedding at Bluewaters, Alicia our wedding co-ordinator was great, she came with us to St John's to complete all the legal bits! On the day of our wedding they decorated the gazebo with fresh flowers. We had a local steel band which I would really reccomend! Every thing was better than we could had imagined and ALL the staff went out of their way to make our stay special. The photographer was great we had alot of fun with pictures after the ceremony. I really recommend getting the cd with all the pictures taken on the day for $150 its worth every penny!
The food at the hotel was really nice, their presentation was excellent. I would reccomend Vyviens for the airconditioning as its still warm in the evenings! The hotel had several bbq's.The hotel was very quiet during our stay so the bar was quiet in the evenings, this wasn't a problem for us as we enjoyed the entertainment of local singers and steel bands.
We were lucky and always found a relaxing spot to sit during the day, we had regular staff special's (cocktails) at the pool bar. The staff brought cold towels and iced water to where we were sun bathing.
We cannot wait to go back, it really does look as good as the pictures!

Stayed at the Cove Suites and the view was to die for. We were in 3F. The bath had a clawfoot tub and separate shower. The grounds were lovely and quiet. ALL of the employees were very friendly and helpful. Some of the nicest people we have met on any of our vacations. Yes, the beach was small but still very nice. It was very intimate and secluded as opposed to a large crowded beach. You can get kayaks, catamarans, and peddle boats all of which are free to guests. If you wish to do any of the excursions, the hotel will arrange them for you. The first 10 feet into the water is a little rocky so bring your water shoes. You can go out pretty far and not be too deep. We did not do the all inclusive as we like to venture out for dinner. We did have the breakfast included and that was perfect. It was buffet style and had plenty to pick from. They will make your eggs to order. The first night we ate at the hotel (The Palms) and it was very good. Service was good as well. Vyviens and The Cove were closed during our stay so we could not try these. The other restaurants that we tried for dinner were Bayhouse, Coconut Grove, Indigo on the Beach, Leahs, and La Bussola Italian. We did not have a bad meal at any of them. All are open air and on the beach. Although you cannot see the water after the sun goes down, you can still here it. Wonderful!! Very romantic. We rented a car from Lions Rent a Car and Samantha (Sandals location) was the best. We didn't even have to go anywhere. She brought the car to us at the hotel and also picked it up. A piece of cake!!! Get ready for the ride of you life! It is quite comical as the roads are narrow and you drive on the opposite side of the road. We are so glad we got the car. We came and went as we wanted. You can also go to the local grocery store called Epicurean on Friarshill Rd. They have everything. It is not far from the hotel. Maybe 10 minutes. Also not far from the hotel is the shopping in St. Johns. Maybe 15 minute drive. The locals go here as well and we liked that. The ladies in the shops were all very friendly and not pushy. If you are looking for a beautiful setting that is intimate and NOT the big chain type, the Blue Waters is it. We loved this hotel and this island. Can't wait to go back!!

We stayed here for our honeymoon, we had a deluxe beachfront room. Fantastic place, very much a paradise special! Food was wonderful, Viviens was classy and the staff were very friendly.
St Johns nearby is a good walk round place for something different, great to see the cruise liners up close that are docked up.
We travelled with Virgin Atlantic, highly recommened.
Excellent place for honeymooners
