Bluewaters is a very pretty hotel with lovely tropical gardens. The Deluxe Beachfront rooms are comfortable and have great views but are not what i would classify as 'Deluxe'. The beach itself is quite small, however that said is used only by hotel guests. There are also no toilets on or near the beach - you have to walk back through the hotel reception.
The quality of the food is a bit hit and miss - some nights it was very good but on occasions about average. Their are two restaurants included in the 'All Inclusive' package - Palms and Vyviens. The menu at Palms changes nightly but choices were not always available; the menu at Vyviens is the same every night. You can also dine at 'The Cove' for an extra $25.00 per person; this restaurant is far superior and serves spicy Asian style food in a lovely setting overlooking the sea. The service at this restaurant is much better too - it was a bit erratic and sometimes rather slow in the other two restaurants, especially at lunch and breakfast times. The hotel also serves afternoon tea but the sandwiches are pre-plated and unless you go early they taste rather stale.
