We spent 5 nights in an Oceanview Venetian Suite. The room was beautifully decorated, with plasma TV, plenty of storage, huge bar area, nice balcony with table and chairs, and fantastic bathroom. As this section was just a few months old, it was really clean and the area beautifully landscaped. Everything in our room worked perfectly, and the concierge service was very available if you needed anything. The view from our balcony overlooked the sea, the pool, and the park like grounds. Houskeeping was exceptional, and all of the employees very friendly. The pool was huge and seemed to have enough lounges for everyone, there are cabanas available for $50 per day, reserve ahead. We spent our time on the beach. Plenty of lounges there, no shortage of towels, and a nice long beach to take walks, better than some other Sandals for strolling. There are a few other all inclusives on this stretch of beach, most catering to quiet adults, but it is a public beach and there will be a few children here and there. You do need dinner reservations at the "better" restaurants, do that with your concierge as soon as you arrive. We found Kimono's to be excellent as well as Eleanor's. Mario's can't be beat for the best breakfasts. Lunch at the 2 beach restaurants was great, and of course, there are drinks available everywhere. The food is very good quality, some of the fish was disapointing, the chicken and pork were excellent. There is a great amount of fruits and veggies at every meal, for sure, something for every appetite. The original section was so different from this new area, very quaint and woodsy, more of a cottage feel. Very pretty, and fun to experience walking between both areas.
