We routinely stay at the Amaryllis because we through transit to Montserrat several times per year. In total, we have overnghted there at least a dozen times in the past 3 years. It's major distinction is its easy access to the airport. The accommodations are spartan, serviceable and reasonably comfortable, but nothing special. The open air restaurant is quite nice, the food good and the Wadadli's are cold. The major problem we have run into is an occasional discrepancy between the rate quoted on the phone and the rate on arrival. This has happened several times, and probably relates to the fact that bookings are recorded manually. Each time it was fixed without a problem when we questioned the charge, but it is annoying to have to hassle with it after a long and exhausting day of travel. Make sure you get the name of the reservation clerk with whom you speak in case there is a question at check-in. Overall, useful for our purposes, but utilitarian at best.
