We were at this hotel in early march, and i can echo the comments of the party from surrey, who appeared to have a super time and enjoyed a wedding there. we found it a most delightful and charming destination. the quality was more than adequate, but i can understand people being a little dissapointed, but this is a carribean island and any faults are dealt with in a charming and efficient manner, which puts you at ease and helps you relax. (the flight via barbados is long and the airport is v small and not like a western international one so by the time you've got to your hotel with a small impatient child you need to tune into antigua relaxed mode) the food was always good and the staff were really good. the kids club seemed very popular, but despite what the virgin brochure says, you can't take your two year old unless he can use the pot, which was the only negative thing about the hotel, but was not their fault, (virgin misrepresentation). however the lovely lady on customer support sorted us out with a nanny and meals al fresco. the setting is fantastic and we will definitely return.
