The Hawksbill is a great place to stay if you want rest and relaxation. Each manager took special care of every guest. The service was timely on drinks and food. The food was: breakfast - really good, lunch - really good, dinner - good. The resort provided non-motorized water sports equipment (sea kayaks, small sail boats, snorkel gear). Honeymoon cove was a great place to stay. The rooms were clean. 4 beaches - including one clothing-optional beach give you variety. When you want to wash the salty water off, the pool area is very nice with easy access to the lunch buffet and the pool side bar. We rented a car, which allowed us to see much of the island. The car was provided on site at the resort - very convenient. I say again that several standout members of the staff made the stay purely pleasurable at a reasonable price for all inclusive. The food was above average. They had crab races on Sunday night, which were funny. There was also live entertainment about 3-4 nights a week, with a manager's cocktail hour on Monday. There is a gift shop on site for small items. Calling to the US is pretty expensive but local calls from the room are reasonable. I would suggest a day trip to St. Johns and a trip to Half Moon Bay beach. If plush, lavish decor is what you are going for, go for something more expensive. If you are going for R&R in the sun and excellent service and care at a good price, then stay at the Hawksbill - you will be impressed.
