We have just returned from Hawksbill Beach Resort after a pleasant weeks stay. The beaches are absolutely great, food needs some improvements, and service was above average. There is a new gen mgr (Richard Michelin) who is making this resort do an about face. I understand it will undergo a facelift soon and that as of December 03 it will become an all-inclusive resort...this is good as Antigua resorts seem to be pricey regarding food/drink. There are four pristine beaches, water sports, good snorkel- ing, and a secluded clothing optional beach. If you are looking for a family or friends unit, choose the Great House which has 3 bdrms, located on a beach point with spectacular views. We chose not to use our A/C as we wanted to enjoy sounds of the ocean...believe you me this was a wise choice, almost like getting back to nature! My wife and I will be returning back to Antigua in January for two weeks and look forward to experiencing the new Hawksbill Beach Resort
