The Bonjour Cafe is located in a woodland setting between Veya/The Garden Centre and the salt pond at Sandy Ground.
We sat a table on the outside terrace in the shade of a very large tree, which is part of the Garden around the front of the café. Other outside tables were taken by four US tourists and two local businessmen, whilst a table inside was also occupied.
For lunch, Mrs FB2000 tried the Mahi-Mahi Ratatouille from the specials board on which the verdict was very good, whilst I ordered the Croque Monsieur, which was fine. After two cups of Cappuchino to finish we were each given a rum and vanilla digestive and two chocolates free of charge.
The service was very friendly but a little on the slow side, although as we were very comfortable we were in no hurry. The waitress informed us that she was originally from Trinidad and owned the café with her French husband, and this influence is visible in the menu. Also, the service charge was only 10%
