“Yum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

Once again a fabulous meal at Tribeca Restaurant. Myself and two girlfriends on a girls night out. The restaurant had a lovely chilled buzz to it. The service was great, wonderful cocktails, steak to die for. Each time we have been there the meal has been fabulous. If you are in the area, you should definitely give it a go...

“Great food-very reasonable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013 via mobile

My friend and I were staying at the Marriott close by and this is one of the few restaurants nearby. We were not expecting much. However, the restaurant was fully booked and they accommodated us in the smoking section a few steps up near the bar- and told us there were at present no smokers. Our waiter was delightful- spoke great English and complimented us on our limited Portuguese
. I had the linguine with clams and my friend had prawns and risotto. The clams were very tiny and sweet- at least 3 dozen. It was perfectly seasoned with garlic-yum! The risotto hand a definite fish taste so I assume it was flavored with the broth from the prawns.we also got bread and butter aNd olives for a slight charge. We shared an in ice bottle of a dry white wine and had 2 dishes of ice cream. The whole bill was under $50. How can you beat that?

“Overpriced for average food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

We've eaten at this restaurant a few times now and always thought it pricey.

Went again a couple of evenings ago.

The food was only ok. Much the same range is on offer as at other local restaurants: some Portuguese specialities including variations of dried cod, but predominantly grilled fish, sea food, meats, chips, boiled potatoes, salad, vegetables. The setting may be smarter - although a bit of an odd mix: Americana and French brasserie with references to the jazz age and the service is a bit more formal.

However, the bill was very much higher than the food, service and setting warranted. We agreed that more modestly presented restaurants (including Cozhina D'El Rei just up the road a bit) offer much better value for money.

Don't think we'll go back.

“Best steak”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013

Such a great little restaurant. Service was impeccable, very attentive and welcoming. The steak was the best I have ever had ( normally always have steak so I've had a lot). Partner had oysters and fish pie, also said was v tasteful! It was so good we went back again, they gave us a free drink too! Would highly recommend.
