“WOW-First class all the way!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2009

WE just returned from 5 heavenly nights at the Conrad BALI .The entire staff sure
understands the meaning of customer service. It is first class all the way.
The morning breakfast buffet is outstanding, there is something for everyone's
taste. The treatments at the Jiwa Spa--PURE BLISS!!!! My husband and I enjoyed
a two and one half hour treatment together.....it was so romantic!!!!We started with a foot bath, body message, body scrub, body mask, paraffin hand treatment and ended it all
with a bath with flower petals!!!!!!Did I mention tea before the treat and again when
you are in the bath with cookies.
Needless to say we did not want to leave the Conrad .Club level perks are
generous as well.Beautiful happy hour every evening from 5-7 with tasty snacks/appetizers.Pool staff was very attentive.Gift shop employees, a joy as well.Front desk staff and concierge always available to offer assistance. We opted to book the hotels transport service to and from the airport--seamless.We would recommend this option.Do not hesitate to stay at this property.

We were there on the last weekend of Feb 2009. Really wanted to relax as this was our 3rd visit to Bali in 10 years... so we've done the tourist thingy..

Conrad was amazing!!! there was even a fireworks display courtesy of a wedding reception there. Unfortunately, eventhough Bali is part of the largest Muslim nation of the world by population, the halal breakfast spread is very limited. Overall it was an enjoyable stay

It was my first visit to Bali, and was recommended the hotel by a friend. As we had an extended weekend holiday, we booked for a 3 day, 2 night stay, bringing along the kids. We arrived in the afternoon from KL, had a quick 'NasiPadang' lunch, and proceeded to the hotel. On arrival, we were greeted by friendly hotel staff. A nice cool Pepperment Tea wasserved as a welcome drink, while we wait for the rooms to be ready.

The room we had was located on the 1st floor., and had a great view of the ocean. It was on those rooms which opened straight into the 'lagoon' pool from our room. It thrilled the children and wife to bits. It wasn't long before everyone was jumping into the pool.

In general, the resort offered wonderful getaway for someone looking for a weekend of rest. Although the beach was not great, but it was clear, and you can see the small fishes and 'star-fishes' at the bottom. As it was 'off-peak' season in late -February, there were not many tourists around, apart from many couples enjoying what ,probably is, their honeymoon. In fact, on the 2nd night, there was a great fireworks display to celebrate a couple's wedding , near the chapel within the resort compound.

Food at the hotel was, obviously, on the steep side. The breakfast buffet lacked a bit of variety, but was decent. It is recommended that dinner at the Jimbaran Beach (about half an hour away), or near Kuta , be an internary for anyone's visit to Bali. The seafood was good. For those who favour shopping, a visit to Kuta (and, the nearby Hard rock Hotel) is a must. Transport, and getting around Kuta and Jimbaran was quite reasonable.

Overall, great trip and great hotel!

It was filled with kids and family, not peaceful at all, children crying all the time. Thats the price you pay for staying in large hotels with no privacy and restriction. Mid you, i love the Conrad brand, in fact, all my fav hotels are conrad, four seasons or ritz, but this conrad, big no no for recommended. If you have a family with kids, pls go ahead.

Stayed pool here for Christmas 2007 and even though the weather was grotty, as should be expected at this time of year we had a good time.

Room was nice and clean, pool area well kept plus there were a few things offered by the hotel to do. We did an early morning cycle trip which was really good fun, plus I took some yoga classes ...first time I'd done yoga outside (under cover of course) in a thunder storm.

All in all a good time was had by all plus we got an extra Christmas monkey :-) Food was very good tried all the restaurants and enjoyed them all. This is a child friendly resort but they deal with this very well, taking notice of who does and who does not have young children and seating in the restaurants accordingly, but in a very polite manner.
